<p>As the rankings updates continue to roll out, we take a look at the riser s in the 2027 class who helped their cause based on on their performances this season. Some were already on the radar knowing they had the potential to blow up this past season, and they did not disappoint. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1587367' first='Prince' last='Goldsby'], Blue Springs South - OLB/EDGE (6'4" 215)<br>Previous Ranking: 56<br>Current Ranking: 5<br>- The highest riser is the incredibly talented and athletically gifted Goldsby, who showed flashes of what he was capable last season as a sophomore, but came a long way and as a player as things seemed to click for him. He used his 4.5 speed and size to record 92 tackles and 14 sacks with 23 tackles for loss. College like Alabama, Oklahoma, Mizzou and others have taken note and offered as of late.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1590186' first='Chris' last='Harris'], Lee's Summit West- WR (6'0" 175)<br>Previous Ranking: 23<br>Current Ranking:12<br>- Another speedster, but on the offensive side of the ball is the big time playmaker Harris, who uses his 10.7 100 meters track speed to hid benefit to make plays catching the ball or in space running with it. He had 52 catches for 748 yards and 9 touchdowns receiving, and 347 yards and 3 touchdowns rushing. Harris has also seen his recruitment pick up with Missouri and Nebraska recently offering.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='813880' first='Jameson' last='Honey'], Lindbergh - DL (6'3" 260)<br>Previous Ranking: 22<br>Current Ranking: 9<br>- The proto-type D1 college defensive lineman that you look for with his size, frame, athleticism, quickness and motor. He goes hard every down and uses good technique and aggression to make plays. Jameson is equally good against the run and as a pass rusher, but has worked and improved his skills to where he could play inside or out on the next level. He recorded 51 tackles and 10 sacks as a junior and is picked up D1 offers and attention.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1160675' first='Chase' last='Dixon'], Ft. Zumwalt West - DT/OL (6'3" 300)<br>Previous Ranking: 42<br>Current Ranking: 27<br>- A two-way monster in the trenches. The powerful Dixon is a load to handle along the interior of both the offensive and defensive lines. He has great feet and quickness as 300-pounds and is a talented blocker. On the defensive side of the ball he is a space-eater who requires double teams, but has the quickness to shoot gaps and blow up plays or rush the quarterback. Chase recorded 26 tackles as a junior in helping his team make it to the quarterfinals in the playoffs.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1590220' first='Josh' last='McCarthy'], Farmington - WR/LB (6'2" 215)<br>Previous Ranking: 49<br>Current Rankings; 28<br>- Josh is a riser who is on a great trajectory and path given his speed, athleticism and skills offensively, defensively and as a special teams player. He made the switch from running back this season to WR and LB following a coaching change, and it really benefited him. He's fast, physical and makes plays wherever he is on the field. At receiver he had 17 receptions for 509 yards and 9 touchdowns. At LB on defense he recorded 119 tackles, with 33 tackles for loss, with 9.5 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries, 5 pass break-ups and a defensive return for a touchdown. Also had a 94-yard kick off return for a touchdown. McCarthy has verified testing numbers of a 4.75 laser forty, 10'2" broad jump and 33" vertical. He's hearing from Mizzou, Iowa State and other schools and will surely hear from more.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='813831' first='Tyler' last='Stockard'], Rock Bridge - TE (6'5" 210)<br>Previous Ranking: 51<br>Current Ranking: 30<br>- This talented transfer moved to Columbia from St. Louis and really thrived playing TE for the Bruins. Tyler has great height and size, with a frame to get bigger, and keep the speed he has. He's also a sure-handed receiver who can line up in the slot or inline and be a dangerous target. Blocking is also a strong point as he is physical on that end and catching the ball. Makes a great red zone target. Has been a talented basketball player for years but his focus is now football. </p>
