2025 Season Recap- Who Were Alabama’s Top Tacklers this Fall?

He's excellent at filling in rushing lanes and making tackles at/behind the line of scrimmage. It's so hard for offenses to find any rhythm in their rushing game with how good he is at identifying and reacting to plays. Brewer is also an excellent tackler. He wraps up really well, can dish out some big hits, and has the speed to make tons of sideline-to-sideline plays all over the field.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>One of the most impressive things I saw in Brewer's tape is seeing how he performs on the goal line. Brewer uses his excellent play recognition/run-defending skills to shut down offenses in the red zone. Turner is terrific at reading and making plays in pursuit- he takes great angles and has impressive closing speed he uses to rack up plays all around the field.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of that, Turner is really effective on passing downs- he constantly blitzes his way into the backfield to generate tons of pressure and has the ball skills out in coverage to track and break up passes as well.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Through 12 games, Turner recorded 164 total tackles (142 solo and 8 for loss), 5 sacks, and 2 INTs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Turner has been terrific for Enterprise these last two seasons. He's quick to react, has impressive speed and pursuit skills, and is constantly finding his way into the backfield to create huge stops.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>I'm really impressed with Massey's blitzing. He can quickly get past the line of scrimmage and generate pressure/sacks on the quarterback, creating huge splash plays when his defense needs them most.</em>“</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Massey was incredibly productive, recording 158 total tackles (85 solo, 18 for loss) and 4 sacks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I'm really excited to watch Massey next season. Hallmark isn't strictly a run defender though, he's actually quite productive in pass defense as well. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Hallmark does a great job affecting opposing passing attacks- he's really good at blitzing and generating pressure, but can also make some huge plays out in coverage as well, consistently coming away with interceptions and pass breakups.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hallmark was unstoppable this year, recording 141 total tackles (95 solo, 5 for loss), 2.5 sacks, and onefumble recovery.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I'm excited to watch Hallmark next season. He was dominant in his junior year, and has the film to show for it. He's strung together three years of dominance over at Williamson.
