Each week, we'll be highlighting a team from each classification that got a big win, reached a milestone, or made history with their victory. Game balls are a special reward handed out after games to recognize outstanding play on the field, and we want to acknowledge teams each week that make a statement. Here are our team game balls for week six of the season!
CLASS AAAA
HURRICANE REDSKINS
Defeated AAA St. Albans 44-22 for their first win of the season
The Hurricane Redskins broke through for their first win of the season in emphatic fashion, rolling past the St. Albans Dragons 44-22 to earn our Class AAAA Game Ball Team of the Week honors. Hurricane's offense came to life, consistently moving the chains, while the defense made stops when they mattered to keep the Dragons from gaining traction.
This marked the first win of the Dustin Hatfield era at Hurricane and can serve as a boost of confidence moving forward for the Redkins in a rebuilding year.
CLASS AAA
BRIDGEPORT INDIANS
Defeated Fort Hill (MD) 49-14
The Bridgeport Indians continued their incredible run with a dominant 49-14 win over Fort Hill (MD), earning this week's Class AAA Game Ball Team of the Week. The Indians imposed their will from start to finish, scoring on seven of eight drives and piling up over 400 rushing yards in another classic display of physical football.

powered the attack with 203 yards and four touchdowns, while Eli Knight added 97 yards and two scores of his own.
Bridgeport's defense matched the offense's energy, forcing key turnovers and shutting down any hopes of a Fort Hill comeback. The victory marked Bridgeport's 20th straight win and showed exactly why the Indians remain one of West Virginia's most dominant programs.
CLASS AA
DODDRIDGE COUNTY BULLDOGS
Defeated previously undefeated #4 Petersburg 21-7
The Doddridge County Bulldogs battled back from a halftime deficit to stay unbeaten with a hard-fought 21-7 win over #4 Petersburg, earning this week's Class AA Game Ball Team of the Week. After trailing 7-0 at the break, the Bulldogs flipped the momentum in the second half, sparked by a blocked punt from Brandon Davis Brandon Davis 5'0" | 180 lbs Doddridge County | 2027 WV that set up their first touchdown. From there, sophomore RB Lyric Blake Lyric Blake 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Doddridge County | 2028 State WV took over, scoring both a rushing and receiving touchdown, while Brycen Eidel Brycen Eidel 6'0" | 155 lbs | LB Doddridge County | 2026 WV added a key fourth-quarter score to seal the victory.
Doddridge's defense tightened up after halftime, shutting down Petersburg's offense and paving the way for the comeback, and kept their perfect season alive.
CLASS A:
TUCKER COUNTY MOUNTAIN LIONS
Defeated #4 Pendleton County 42-20
The Tucker County Mountain Lions showed true resilience, rallying from a 20-6 deficit to storm past #4 Pendleton County, 42-20, to earn this week's Class A Game Ball Team of the Week. After a slow start, Tucker County caught fire in the second quarter, scoring 22 straight points to take control by halftime. 2026 QB Sam Marks Sam Marks 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Tucker County | 2026 State WV led the comeback with a stellar performance, throwing five touchdown passes while connecting repeatedly with playmakers Cayden Arnold and Keelyn Eichelberger.
The Mountain Lions' defense tightened up in the second half, shutting down the Wildcats' offense and protecting the lead. It was a statement win that highlighted Tucker County's poise, firepower, and ability to respond when their backs were against the wall.
