Each week, we'll be highlighting a team from each classification that got a big win, reached a milestone, or made history with their victory. Game balls are a special reward handed out after games to recognize outstanding play on the field, and we want to acknowledge teams each week that make a statement. Here are our team game balls for week seven of the season!
CLASS AAAA
MARTINSBURG BULLDOGS
Defeated #1 Morgantown 34-6
The Martinsburg Bulldogs earned our Class AAAA Team of the Week honor after handing top-rated and previously unbeaten Morgantown its first loss of the season, 34–6. After a tight first half, the Bulldogs took over in the second, outscoring the Mohigans 20–0 to seal a dominant win. 2028 QB/ATH

Martinsburg's defense was just as impressive, shutting down Morgantown's powerful offense and keeping them out of rhythm. The victory pushed Martinsburg to 5–2 and reminded everyone that the Bulldogs are still a major force in Class AAAA football.

PRINCETON TIGERS
Defeated #3 Greenbrier East 35-14
The Princeton Tigers earned our Class AAA Team of the Week honors after knocking off #3-ranked Greenbrier East with an impressive 35–14 win. Princeton controlled the game from start to finish, mixing strong defense with explosive plays on offense. 2026 QB

The Tigers' defense was equally dominant, shutting down Greenbrier East's run game and never letting them find a rhythm. With the victory, Princeton stayed unbeaten and proved they belong among the top contenders in Class AAA football.
CLASS AA
MOOREFIELD YELLOW JACKETS
Defeated Class A #7 Tucker County 40-28 for the first win of the Eric Linville era
The Moorefield Yellow Jackets earned our Class AA Team of the Week after securing their first win of the Eric Linville era with a hard-fought victory over Class A #7 Tucker County. The Yellow Jackets showed resilience and teamwork, controlling the game with timely plays on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Oliver Crites Oliver Crites LB Moorefield | 2026 WV helped lead a balanced attack, while the defense held strong to keep Tucker County's offense in check.
It was a statement win for a program beginning to find its identity under new leadership and a big confidence boost for Moorefield as they look to build momentum the rest of the season.
CLASS A:
MOUNT VIEW GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Defeated AA Summers County 16-14 for their first win of the season
The Mount View Golden Knights earned our Class A Team of the Week honors after picking up their first win of the season with a hard-fought 16–14 victory over Class AA Summers County. The Golden Knights showed heart and determination, putting together their best performance of the year while the defense made key stops to protect the narrow lead late.
After a tough start to the season, Mount View's resilience finally paid off, giving the team a much-needed spark of confidence and momentum heading into the second half of their schedule.
