Week Five Prospects to Add to Your Recruiting Board

He joins former Southmoreland teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1616382' first='Anthony' last='Smith'] at Fairmont Senior for the second half of his senior season and made an immediate impact in week five for the Polar Bears. He's an undersized bulldog at defensive tackle who is a headache for interior offensive linemen to block. Hastings is very strong for his size and consistently out-leverages his man and gets under them easily. He's their physical runner between the tackles option at one of their Wing positions. Paxton runs hard and gets downhill quickly in their offense as a one-cut-and-go style of runner. They like to utilize him on shovel passes, and Paxton executes that play very well. He's long and athletic and could project to either side of the ball at the next level. Myers is explosive as a kick returner and can be a deep ball threat in the passing game. He has a good burst and can accelerate to top speed quickly, which makes him dangerous on special teams. You can utilize him in a variety of ways, and Bearhs has been a playmaker in both the rushing and passing game this season. Beahrs has totaled over 600 all-purpose yards and 5 touchdowns at the midway point of the season, while also leading the team in interceptions with 5. He's long and athletic and could grow into a few different positions as a college prospect as he continues to fill out his 6'2 frame. For now, we like Smith as a WR where touches are limited in a Wing-T offense, but he makes the most of them.
