QUARTERBACK

Antioch 2027 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] was absolutely electric in the 64-62 win over Franklin Road Academy and helped will his team to the victory against one of the most complete defenses in the state. He accounted for 489 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns in the game, with six coming in the first half.

Adams has a lively arm and has taken the next step in his development to where he can begin to manipulate defenses and look defenders off of a good play to open up a great play. That was on full display against a defense featuring Division One prospects at every level of the unit.

Silverdale 2027 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1535798' first='Connor' last='Jenne'] was tasked with matching an explosive offense from the opponent and he delivered in the game against Boyd Buchanan despite the loss, throwing for 294 yards and three touchdowns in addition to rushing for another 174. He threw no interceptions against one of the toughest teams on his schedule and continues to take steps forward as an all-around quarterback in his junior season.

RUNNING BACK

FRA was down by as many as 27 points on the road to unbeaten Antioch, but senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1106238' first='Michael' last='Hassell'] was not going to go down without a fight and behind his hard downhill running, the Panthers made the comeback to have the chance to tie the game and force overtime. He had a statement game as he ran for over 200 yards and five touchdowns in the narrow loss.

Boyd Buchanan 2026 running back [player_tooltip player_id='402534' first='David' last='Green'] was tasked with a larger role in this game and he took full advantage of the opportunity. He would rush for 223 yards and a trio of touchdowns in the victory over archrival Silverdale.

RECEIVER

Lausanne upset Collierville on Thursday night and their star receivers were a large reason why the Lynx came out on top 49-35, with senior [player_tooltip player_id='860627' first='Jawell' last='Rodgers'] and his electric seven receptions for 253 yards and four touchdowns, keeping the team always one step ahead.

Both teams featured a blue-chip 2027 receiver prospect with [player_tooltip player_id='1556594' first='Lawrence' last='Britt'] (Lausanne) and Tae Walden Jr (Collierville) and both were productive in the game as well. The Collierville standout continues to shine with an eight catch performance that resulted in 121 yards and a touchdown.

Britt seemingly moved back to receiver, from previously taking running back responsibilities, and hauled in four receptions for 99 yards and a score of his own.

While Silverdale dropped the game to Boyd Buchanan, 2027 receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1629888' first='Cannon' last='Rogers'] was a large part of keeping the Seahawks in the game with his seven receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Senior [player_tooltip player_id='966033' first='Brandon' last='Goliday'] was very impressive for Antioch making play after play to keep Antioch ahead with his four touchdowns on the night. He caught anything and everything that was thrown his way no matter the coverage on him, and if he did not bring it in, it was due to a defensive penalty.
