After a solid sophomore campaign, Gibson has put together an incredible season, establishing himself as one of the best backs in the state of any class. Jayshon totes the rock with great vision and patience, setting up his blocks downfield. He also demonstrates stellar contact balance and body control as he weaves in and out of running lanes bumping and breaking tackles. Gibson runs with an electric mix of shiftiness and power. He is violent in his cuts and never goes down on first contact. "Fats" also provides great value in the receiving game out of the backfield. The Royals' star playmaker has scored in every contest this year, with an unreal 27 total touchdowns and over 1,800 scrimmage yards this season. Jayshon has received offers from schools such as Arizona State, Utah, and Baylor.

In his second season of being the workhorse back for the Bears offense, Coleman has reached a new level of production as his dynamic skillset continues to develop. Kameron showcases great burst through the line of scrimmage and smooth vertical cuts to get past the second level. Coleman flashes prolific instincts immediately after the handoff, hitting running lanes as they open and utilizing his long strides to breakoff downfield. The big-play RB is very smooth with little wasted movement both in between the tackles and when bouncing it outside. With over 1,400 yards and nearly 20 TDs, Kameron has been one of the most underrated players in the state this season, and he will play a vital role in a Bears playoff run. He has received an offer from Sacramento State.

Carson is a downhill back with great frame, power, and vision. He has been a broken tackle machine all season, with elite lower body contact balance and great lateral cutback ability. In terms of a power back just completely bouncing off tackles and regaining balance, James has had some BeasMode-esque runs this season. He thrives at keeping his eyes downfield and churning his feet while absorbing contact. Carson has led the Jackets to an 8-1 start, with nearly 1,600 yards and a ridiculous 28 TDs. Expect him to stay hot and get fed the rock at a surplus in the playoffs, adding to his sure to rise recruiting stock.

In a disappointing season for the Eagles, Cotton has been a massive bright spot, taking the stage as an elusive and explosive all-purpose back. Though not the biggest back in the state, Kenyen runs as hard and physical as anybody out there. He carries the pill with great security, pad-level, and change of direction. Cotton is extremely sudden and intentional with his footwork and cuts, hitting running lanes with purpose and making defenders miss through the third level. He is a very instinctive runner with violence and precision to his movements. Kenyen has totaled over 1,300 yards and 10 TDs this season, and don't be surprised when his name heats up on recruiting boards after the season.

Another example of an underperforming team with a bright spot in the backfield, Sela has dominated great competition all season. Caris is a true all-purpose back with great patience and vision and a natural hop-cut. He slides in and out of running lanes, allowing his blocks to setup downfield, then taking off with great acceleration and break tackle ability. He showcases fluid hips and stellar hands out of the backfield. Much of the Texans' offensive success has come going to Caris in the screen game. With no true flaws to his game, has totaled over 1,700 yards and 14 TDs in just 8 games this season. Sela is a name to listen for as the season winds down and the recruiting trail heats up.
