10. Liverpool (Last Week, NR)

A new week means a new team has entered the rankings. I departed over the #10 spot between a few teams, and squads like CBA-Albany, Saratoga Springs, Somers and others each have a case for the final spot on this list. This week it goes to the undefeated Warriors. Liverpool sits at 6-0, and 4-0 in Section Three Play. The Warriors are yet to allow over 20 points the season, and have major wins over teams like Cicero-North Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Proctor, and Fayetteville-Manlius. A major Section Matchup awaits, with CBA-Syarcause, facing Liverpool, in a top ten matchup, and big time Section Three matchup. The winner of this game will claim the number one spot in Section Three.

9. Garden City (Last Week, 9)

Garden City remains on this list at the number nine slot. The Trojans keep winning, and they keep winning big. I said they needed a big win against Mepham, in order to stay in the top ten, and they delivered. The Trojans pulled out a 44-7 win over Mepham, and moved to 5-0 on the season, and 1-0 in league play. I still have concerns regarding the strength of schedule Garden City plays, but they keep winning, and have yet to allow over 20 points in a game this season. Due to this they stay at #9, but are holding on by a thread.

8. Sayville (Last Week, 10)

Sayville has been missing star QB [player_tooltip player_id='747206' first='Patrick' last='Coan'] for most of the season due to injury. Despite this, the Golden Flashes remain undefeated through the 2025 season, and have five straight league wins to start the season. Sayville was yet to play in a close, game and had an iffy competition level. This was proven this season, as the Golden Flashes escaped with a close win against Smithtown West 30-21. With Liverpool entering, and a team exiting, Sayville jumps up to the #8 spot in the power rankings.

7. St. Anthony's (Last Week, NR)

This pick will be highly scrutinized. The Friars sit at 3-4 which makes it hard to slot them over three undefeated teams. Of the three teams listed so far, the Friars are better on paper then all of them. Coach Minucci and his St. Anthony's squad have played a grueling schedule this season against some of the top teams in NY, and NJ. Don Bosco, and Iona Prep are two loses for the Friars, both of which are the top teams in their respective states (NY,NJ). Monsignor Farrell, is another loss the Friars faced in a 21-20 heartbreaker. The final team that beat St. Anthony's, was McDonough who is a top team in Maryland. All four loses are against quality teams, and the Friars do have good wins against Catholic League Kellenburg, and Cardinal Hayes. They also beat University Prep. With multiple teams Idle this week, the Friars sneak their way back in the top ten.

6. St. Francis (Last Week, 7)

St. Francis picked up another out of state victory this past week, in the form of a 46-6 win over Erie (PA). While the Royals, are a bad team sitting at 1-7 on the season, St. Francis dominated the competition and picked up an out of state win. The Red Raiders have a matchup against Bishop Timon St. Jude next on their schedule, in what will be a huge test in league play for St. Francis.
