10. CBA-Albany(Last Week, NR)

The Brother's started the season 0-2, but have quickly made their way up the rankings. Monsignor Farrell, and CBA-Syracuse won back to back wins against the Albany team, and pushed them down the rankings board. Both teams have a combined record of 11-1, and are quality losses for the Brothers. Following the two losses, the Brothers won five straight games and sit at 5-2, with two games remaining. Saratoga Springs, Shenendehowa, and Guilderland, are all solid team in the section, and the Brothers beat them handily. They also added a 77-0 blowout over Schenectady, and a close win over Shaker. Coach Burns has a sneaky team, that can make some noise in the playoffs.

9. Garden City (Last Week, 9)

Garden City remains on this list at the number nine slot. The Trojans keep winning, and they keep winning big. They have allowed just 43 points across six games this season while scoring 261 points. Their defense has allowed more than ten points just once this season. The Long Island squad keeps growing their win streak, and therefore are hanging on to a top ten slot. They have their toughest test this week, against in my opinion a good Calhoun squad. With a win in this game, they will likely secure another undefeated season.

8. Sayville (Last Week, 8)

The second Long Island squad in the top ten, Sayville has been rolling this season. The Golden Flashes sit undefeated, and have some pretty impressive wins against solid Long Island squads on their resume. Half Hollow Hills West, Smithtown West, and Westhampton Beach, are solid opponents who fell short against Sayville, with two losing by blowout. Sayville will likely stay undefeated through the final two games, which likely sets up a matchup with Garden City at some point in the playoffs.

7. St. Anthony's (Last Week, 7)

The Friars picked up a major win this past week, and moved themselves back to .500. St. Anthony's faces off against Archbishop Stepinac this weekend in a must win matchup for playoff seeding for both teams. This past week Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1630235' first='Anthony' last='Diieso'], tore up the Chaminade defense, and led his team to a massive 33-19 victory. Cardinal Hayes, Chaminade, University Prep, and Kellenberg Memorial are the wins for the Friars this season, with the loses coming from Iona Prep, and Monsignor Farrell, who are top teams in the state, and Don Bosco (NJ), and McDonough (MD). No changes this week for the Friars, but expect a shakeup next week with a big time matchup upcoming.

6. Rye (Last Week, 4)

Don't get me wrong I love this Rye Team. Coach Garr has the best team in Section One, and arguably the best public school team in the Lower Hudson Valley. Rye sits undefeated this season, at 7-0. The reason for their drop, is the ease to their schedule the past few weeks. While Rye can't control this, Yorktown, Eastchester, and Nyack combined have a below .500 record. I do believe this team will win Section One A, and they have a real shot to make some noise in the Class A playoffs this season.
