#2 West Linn @ #1 Lake Oswego (-1)

The game of the year in the NW and what will likely be a preview of the state championship if LO and West Linn are on opposite sides of the bracket. The reigning state champs have been off the charts impressive all year. The question becomes will their young guys be able to step up and handle a litany of D1 talent. Look for LB [player_tooltip player_id='402422' first='Rowen' last='Lewis'] and San Diego DB commit [player_tooltip player_id='1169947' first='Hudson' last='Gasperson'] to make some key plays and be a factor. LO shut out #3 Central Catholic but gave up 24 points to #4 Tualatin, so the outcome depends on the Lakers D in my opinion.

Barlow @ #3 Central Catholic (-44)

CC will play Nelson for the Mt Hood title next week, so I would expect the game to be over and the Rams starters to be done by half.

#5 Lakeridge @ #4 Tualatin (EVEN)

Such a good ball game. As referenced numerous times it's now or never for Lakeridge, with a senior dominated team and a plethora of D1 guys. The Pacers beat Tualatin 33-22 last year and have an advantage up front on the O line, even with lineman of the year favorite [player_tooltip player_id='1110967' first='Connor' last='LaGrow'] at Tackle. That said as underclassmen [player_tooltip player_id='937241' first='Cole' last='Hachmeister'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'] are legit and haven't really been stopped yet. Even Lake O had a tough time containing Rule who went for 200 yards and a couple scores.

Reynolds @ #6 Nelson (-42.5)

Nelson has been playing extremely good ball this year, minus the trip to Boise. It will be interesting to see if their mind is elsewhere this week, with the Mt Hood title game against CC just a week away.

(-3.5) #7 Willamette @ (5A) #4 Dallas

One of the more interesting games of the year with Dallas undefeated and absolutely destroying teams at the 5A level. DHS is not a hospitable place to play, and Willamette isn't exactly battle tested. Expect this to be a close ball game.

#9 Jesuit @ #8 Mountainside (-1)

The Metro League title game projects as a much closer contest than last year's 58-35 win by Mountainside. Jesuit has Nevada commit [player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] back which is a big deal, especially with Jr. RB [player_tooltip player_id='1591586' first='Luke' last='Ortner'] running wild all over the state. If the Mavericks D shows up, I like them to get a close win. [player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1566148' first='Sean' last='Gerigk'] have been unstoppable as a duo and will likely garner a double team from the Crusaders.

Liberty @ #10 Newberg (-30)

Liberty isn't a bad football team, but Newberg has one of their best groups in school history, playing the likes of #1 Lake O tough. The Tigers should take care of business before big time matchups against #13 Glencoe and #12 Sherwood to close the season.

South Salem @ #11 West Salem (-19)

The Saxons could very well finish 0-9 and have the best stats of any winless team in America. (5-1) West Salem has been playing good ball all year and should continue that trend.

McMinnville @ #12 Sherwood (-31)

It's been a tough year for the Grizzlies at 1-5 but they didn't play terrible in their 35-7 loss to #10 Newberg last week. I would expect Sherwood to drop the hammer tonight.

Century @ #13 Glencoe (-39)

Give Coach Ian Reynoso all the credit in the world with his team moving back up from 5A last year and having a top 15 season at the 6A level. [player_tooltip player_id='1232743' first='Daniel' last='Heninger'] will go for another 300 if they keep him in the ball game.

#14 Oregon City @ #15 Tigard (-1.5)

The TRL is brutal. If OC was to get a win here, they would be 4-3 heading into their final two games of the regular season against #1 LO and #2 West Linn, which they could feel good about. This is a must win for Tigard who currently sits at 1-5 but has legit dudes. The Tigers beat OC 35-19 last year.
