This report aims to spotlight a remarkably gifted emerging RB from Barnstable High School in Massachusetts for the fall of 2025. After assessing his recent 2025 early-season highlight reel, athletic testing outcomes from summer camps, and engaging in a discussion with him through an online question-and-answer process, I am confident that he has the potential to become a leading recruit in New England's Class of 2026.

🌟 Early 2025 Highlight Film Analysis: Jayson Dyer Jayson Dyer Jayson Dyer 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB/WR Barnstable | 2026 State New E - Barnstable High School 🌟
Jayson Dyer Jayson Dyer Jayson Dyer 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB/WR Barnstable | 2026 State New E , the electrifying running back from Barnstable High School, is making waves this season! At 5'10" and 180 lbs, Dyer possesses a remarkable blend of agility and power. With an incredible total of 463 rushing yards over his first three games, averaging an impressive 154.3 yards per game, he's consistently showcasing his explosive capability with an astounding 11 yards per carry! 🚀
His ability to run low with a great lean allows him to navigate through defenses seamlessly, and his 4 rushing touchdowns demonstrate his knack for finding the end zone. Dyer's eye-popping 40-yard dash times of 4.63 and 4.68 at the University of Rhode Island camp further illustrate his speed.

I had the pleasure of asking Jayson additional recruiting questions through an online format.

Question #1: What position do you play, and why do you think the position you play now suits your skills?

Jayson Reply: As a running back, I am very explosive and can break tackles very easily. Also have excellent field vision and cuts.

Question #6: What qualities do you believe are important in a teammate?

Jayson Reply: Selfless and always has your back.

Beyond the stats, Dyer embodies what it means to be a true student-athlete, exhibiting exceptional character on and off the field. With the season still unfolding, college coaches are bound to take a keen interest in this budding star! Keep an eye on Jayson as he continues to shine in the spotlight! 🌟🏈

Head Coach "Ross Jatkola" Comments:

" Jayson Dyer Jayson Dyer Jayson Dyer 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB/WR Barnstable | 2026 State New E has turned himself into a truly complete running back. He can now attack defenses in various ways. This offseason, he added over twenty pounds of muscle to his frame while also improving his speed and agility times. The extra muscle that he put on has given him the extra punch needed to run the ball between the tackles throughout the game and a full season against some of the state's top teams. Not only can Jayson run through defenders, but he has also showcased his breakaway speed this season, averaging 11 yards per carry and already breaking off multiple runs of over 30, 40, and 50 yards in our first three games.

Jayson has strong hands and runs great routes out of the backfield and from the slot. He is not only our strongest running back, but he is also one of our better receivers when called upon. However, the most impressive attribute that Jayson possesses is his unmatched work ethic. Dyer refuses to be outworked on the field, in the weight room, or in team meetings and film sessions."
