One trench monster that has dominated on both sides of the trenches for Wahpeton is [player_tooltip player_id='1226690' first='Luke' last='Anderson'] who oddly is still unoffered. He has strong pure power with his hands and from a year ago has gotten much more quick with his release as a defensive tackle. He also has really elevated with his foot speed and penetrates even better into the second level especially as a pull-blocker. Highly physical on both sides of the trenches as Luke surely looks like an ideal fit in the NSIC.

Another one without his first offer that surprises me and I have been consistent on this one for a while is Shiloh Christian linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1590961' first='Carson' last='Quam']. Carson elevated his game in the tackle department finishing the season with 110 tackles on the season and is a linebacker that I love the read-steps he utilizes as a pass-rusher into the backfield, which also saw 13 tackles for a loss and three sacks and one that has the authoritive tackling ability that will knock someone back consistently. Positon flexibility lies ahead too with Carson, as he averaged 15 plus yards per catch as a 6'2 200 pound tight end that has a sound catch radius and quickly progressive upfield. Another D2 grade I have that is a nice fit in the NSIC.

If you are looking for a sleeper-type deep threat oddly coming out of Fargo Shanley in this 2026 class and need a wide receiver, [player_tooltip player_id='674787' first='Jake' last='Kraft'] is one I would consider without an offer yet. He's a deep threat that knows how to get seperation with his twichy change of direction deep in the second level as I certainly can see that Jake's twitch is swifter than a year ago. He shows off as one too that can make key receptions in high traffic areas or when the ball is slightly off his line, he reacts well on the fly as a route-runner. The 6'1 190 pounder had two NSIC schools with visits early in his process but it'll sound repetive but Jake is another NSIC or could be a steal at the NAIA or MIAC as especially the Cobbers love recruiting Deacons it seems.

Another wide receiver that fits this bill that doesn't have an offer yet is another 11AAA product coming out of Bismarck Century in [player_tooltip player_id='1590577' first='Zavion' last='Harilstad']. The 6'3 now 190 pounder is one that can certainly stretch the field as a route-runner and has gotten better at utilizing his length in his senior season with the Patriots with his catch radius. He also has the basketball body to win routes with his ability to out man the corner with the leverage and size he has the advantage to constantly get. Zavion has a pretty balance route-tree that is really efficent in the open field with his vision after the catch.

One of a few quarterbacks in this 2026 class that surprise me how under the radar they are this deep into October is New Rockford-Sheyenne gunslinger [player_tooltip player_id='1568610' first='Easton' last='Simon'] who has the best deep ball arm and best touch I have seen in this 2026 class as he's surely rose the stock on tape in his senior season for the Rockets. He's also gotten more efficent with his ball placement, which after logging nearly 60 touchdowns last year it's clear the upside meter has continued to grow for Easton. The 6'0 180 pounder. You can bet Easton and the Rockets are my favorites to win the 9B state championship as this team has logged not one but two games this year where they have scored 80 points and three games with 70+ which is absurd. With a 4.0 GPA and no offers, I don't get where the hangup is on college coaches not recruiting this young man more actively Small town hidden gem for sure.
