Impact Players Preview: Rockwall Heath vs. North Forney

<p>We have a Week 6 thriller coming out of the Metroplex this week as the undefeated (6-0) North Forney Falcons play host to the (4-1) Rockwall Heath Hawks. With both teams averaging over 40 points per game, a shootout may be in store tonight. From dual-threat QBs to standout defenders, this matchup will have it all. Here are three players from each squad to watch out for in the slugfest.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heath</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">The Hawks' leader of the offense has taken a massive step forward in the passing game this season, greatly complimenting his explosive run ability. Neal does a great job of consistently hitting his receivers in stride, whether it be from within the pocket or changing arm angles while firing off his back foot. He really excels at working the ball down the sideline into tight windows. As a runner, Prosper is instinctive and possesses great acceleration and the ability to put his foot in the ground and cut up field. While his stats are not completely up to date, the Hawks' star under center has been electric and efficient this season with over 1,200 yards and 15+ total touchdowns. Expect him to take what the defense gives him and break off a run when needed tonight. </p>      <p class="text-gray-700">The star senior wideout has been both explosive and a steady target this season, averaging over 100 yards per game and often finding the end zone. Gary has been Neal's go-to target this season, with consistent hands and elite downfield and contested catch ability. Shawn also showcases great after-the-catch ability, with sudden footwork and loose hips to make defenders miss. Another incredibly impressive trait is his body balance control, flashing the ability to change his positioning and footing to haul in catches from tough angles. Gary holds offers from North Texas. Georgetown, and Oklahoma Baptist, as he is sure to be a great playmaker at the next level.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">A true inside backer, Adams versatile skill set is often used in the Hawks' defense by sending him to blitz from all over the line of scrimmage. Carson thrives at exploding out of his hips and finishing plays in the backfield. He displays great acceleration through the line of scrimmage and the power to disrupt blocks at the point of attack. Adams also showcases great bend and the ability to take the right angle and finish with sound tackle. Carson flashes a rare combination of athleticism and power at the linebacker position, which has led to leading his team in tackles and TFLs. Expect him to disrupt the game early and often tonight.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">North Forney</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Maybe the best dual-threat signal-caller in the state, Bey has been on a tear this season while also taking care of the football. Doing it with his arms and legs, Legend has led one of the best offenses in the state this season. He currently has 25 total touchdowns, over 700 yards both passing and rushing, and oh year zero interceptions through six games. The star playmaker excels at rolling out of the pocket and delivering touch passes down the sideline with great accuracy and smooth mechanics. As a runner, Bey is dynamic and explosive, possessing elite top-end speed and short area quickness. Cordai has really burst onto the scene this season, with over 700 rushing yards to an average of over 11 per carry. He has added 6 touchdowns to the Falcons' offense as well. Woodard runs behind his pads with great footwork, twitchy burst, and big-time physicality. He runs hard with long strides and great lateral change of direction. Cordai also does a great job of maintaining good pad-level and toting the rock with little wasted movement. Gilbert, a lockdown corner, also already has 15 tackles and 7 PBUs on the season. "Deuce" plays with great technique and footwork, is physical at the line of scrimmage, and has the short and long speed to run with any receiver. Along with these traits, as noticeable in his turnover clips, Gilbert has elite WR level hands and excels at playing the ball at all levels of the field. He showcases great tracking and high pointing, in addition to consistent, strong hands. Deuce is also a strong tackler and flies around the field with great instincts.
