Woods also added a 6-yard reception, showing his versatility as a dual-threat back. His ability to finish drives with touchdowns gave Clay-Chalkville full control of the game. With another dominant performance, Woods continues to establish himself as one of the top running backs in the state. His effort set the tone early and carried through all four quarters in the win over Pinson Valley.     For the second straight week, Kamden Dye proved to be a turnover machine for Cullman's defense. He recorded 5 tackles and intercepted two passes, while also adding two pass breakups in a statement win over Buckhorn. Dye's anticipation and ball-tracking skills make him a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. His consistency and ability to deliver in back-to-back games demonstrate elite playmaking instincts. Whether in man coverage or zone, Dye's awareness sets him apart as a defensive leader. Cullman's defensive success has been fueled by Dye's timely interceptions and overall impact on the secondary.     Zach Goodson put together one of the most dynamic defensive performances of the week for Stanhope Elmore. He finished the game with 7 tackles and 2 interceptions, returning one 67 yards for a touchdown. Goodson also made his presence felt on special teams by blocking a punt, showcasing his all-around athleticism. His energy and leadership helped lift the defense against a tough Wetumpka offense. Each of his plays seemed to come at a critical moment, changing the momentum in Stanhope Elmore's favor. Goodson's combination of speed, intelligence, and playmaking made him one of the most impactful defenders of Week 9. Ethan Lawniczak made his presence known in the trenches for Athens with another strong defensive outing. He tallied 6 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss and a sack, while also batting down a pass at the line of scrimmage. Lawniczak's strength and quick first step allowed him to dominate his matchup throughout the game. His relentless effort disrupted Decatur's offensive rhythm, forcing them to adjust their blocking schemes. Each time Athens needed a defensive spark, Lawniczak delivered. His balance of power and technique makes him a cornerstone of the Athens defensive front.
