Film Study: 2028 Athletes

The 2028 Class, has gone under appreciated in New York, due to their youth and lack of experience. The 5'7" 155-Pound Prospect has solid size for a Sophomore but should look to reach the 175 mark before his Junior Season.   Goolsby has serious speed. He blows by defenders after the catch. He has solid hands, and makes catches look easy. I like his route running tree, and he displays good footwork, throughout his routes. Goolsby is a future top prospect who has tons of talent.      [player_tooltip player_id='1545196' first='Alex' last='Vlasto'] takes after his brother Nick, who graduated Rye in 2024. He has excellent size standing sat 6'0" 180-Pounds, and is a future top prospects in Section One.   Vlasto displays a High IQ with an excellent motor. He has outstanding Pursuit, and can track the ball through the gaps on the line. He is a physical Linebacker, and a hard hitter, meeting guys at the line. His tackling is a big thing for me as he displays excellent form as a Sophomore. Vlasto is raw, but has all the makings of a future top LB in the state.      Rosner is part of the JV Squad at Williamsville East, but has a ton of upside. The Two Way Athlete, can play both WR, and DB on the football field, and displays a good size standing at 6'3" 175-Pounds.   Rosner found himself ranked 25th in the state, and 4th as a WR in the first 2028 rankings update. On the defensive side of the ball, he has great instincts and a high IQ. He is a good ball tracker and uses his vision to force fumbles. He has great tackles, and good strength. As a WR, Rosner displays good hands, and solid speed. He has a solid route tree and can find the open zones to burn a defense for big gains.      The Sophomore QB, transferred in from Archbishop Stepinac, and has received solid playing time backing up Tristan Iglesias, for a good Somers Squad. Standing at 5'11" 165-Pounds, he displays a solid build for the QB position.   In his limited film, Morales displayed his big arm. The Somers Sophomore can toss the ball a good 50-yards down the field, and has good accuracy in said throws. He can manage the pocket like a veteran, and stays strong in the pocket while taking hits. He has solid legs, and can run for good gains when needed. A potential dual-threat QB developing in Section 1.      Tumia is the only prospect we will look at from the WNY region of New York. The RB/WR, is undersized standing at 5'7" 145-Pounds, but has made his presence known as a Sophomore this season.   He is more of a WR, and displays an excellent route tree. He has good footwork, and showcases the ability to stop and change direction. After the catch he is elusive and tricky to tackle. As a RB, he is a speed threat, finding the open gaps and running through them on his way to big gains. Tumia is a guy who can rise in the future. Be on the look out for him.
