The Missouri high school playoffs kick off on Thursday night. Here are some of the standout prospects to watch for in the first week of them

[player_tooltip player_id='813880' first='Jameson' last='Honey'], 2027 DT Lindbergh
- 6'3" 260 - Explosive junior defensive lineman has been on my radar since his freshman year and is getting attention from colleges, including his first D1 offer from Northwestern recently, and a game day visit to Iowa State this past weekend. Is having a big year with 56 tackles and 9 sacks heading into the playoffs against Oakville. Big, strong, quick with a great motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112565' first='Titan' last='Davis'], 2026 DE De Smet
- 6'5" 255 - This Michigan commit has looked his best during his senior season. Always fun to watch as he plays with tenacity and his motor on high. Has a quick first step and good moves to apply pressure and make plays against the run. The Spartans were last year's Class 6 champs and could jump up and knock off a few teams this year. Has 39 tackles and 6 sacks during the regular season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1294184' first='Ridge' last='Janes'], 2028 TE De Smet
- 6'5" 235 - The top prospect in the 2028 PRZ class has had a strong second year of high school ball and is second on the team in receptions with 37 for 358 yards for the Spartans. The sure-handed tight end is also a great blocker who plays a big role in their run game. His recruitment is still going strong as well. Definitely a playr to get out and see in the post-season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1590186' first='Chris' last='Harris'], 2027 WR Lee's Summit West
- 5'11" 175 - One of the fastest receivers in the state who is seeing his recruitment take off as of late with D1 offers from Nebraska and Cincinnati just the week. Harris has track speed and can get behind defenses or take a short pass and use his quickness and burst to avoid tacklers and run away from them. Also a threat running the ball and as a returner.

[player_tooltip player_id='1059896' first='Brock' last='Barrows'], 2028 OL Lee's Summit West
- 6'3" 280 - Another top sophomore in the state who is in action on Thursday against Park Hill South will be the talented offensive lineman who plays left tackle currently but will move to the interior on the next level. The strong and athletic Barrows is also playing defensive line this season and has looked good when I saw him. He's a tenacious blocker both in the run and with pass pro who plays with an bit of a mean streak that you want in your O-linemen. Currently holds offers from Arkansas, Tennessee and Iowa State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1130985' first='Jack' last='Brown'], 2027 TE Francis Howell Central
- 6'5" 215 - This heavily recruited junior tight end with 30 plus offers has been one of the top producers for his team this season both on offense and defense as a DE/OLB. It's a new season and his team can extend their ability to play with a win over Zumwalt West on Halloween. Jack is a big target that runs like a receiver and has caught 25 passes for 243 yards and 5 touchdowns this season. On defense he has also contributed 34 tackles and a sack.

[player_tooltip player_id='1128413' first='Garrick' last='Dixon'], 2026 CB Ft. Zumwalt West
- 6'1" 175 - A Kansas State commit and lockdown cornerback has had a great senior season not only on defense, where he has 45 tackles a pick, but has shown talented ability as a receiver catching 46 passes for 638 yards and 10 touchdowns in leading the team. Dixon is fast, with good size and great ball skills. His athleticism is among the best in the state and class. One of the top players in Class 6 to get to see on Friday.
