Antioch, Tenn. – The No. 15 Antioch Bears hosted the No. 8 FRA Panthers on Thursday. A high-flying offense versus a stifling defense, it had the makings to be an exciting one.

It certainly lived up to the hype, but not in the way you'd think. Both teams scored at will, but the Bears made a last-second defensive stop to seal a 64-62 win on Senior Night.

Antioch came out of the gate swinging, forcing a fumble on the first play from scrimmage. Then they put together a scoring drive that was capped by an [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] touchdown pass to [player_tooltip player_id='966033' first='Brandon' last='Goliday']. The Bears went for two and got it to go up 8-0 early.

FRA answered back to make it 8-7, looking like they had finally settled in. But then, Adams led two more touchdown drives to make it a two-score lead.

The Panthers scored again to stop the bleeding, but the Bears' offense was relentless, crossing paydirt three more times to take a 42-23 lead into halftime.

Antioch got the ball coming out of the intermission and instantly showed they were nowhere near done scoring. Adams and Co. marched into FRA territory and completed the drive with a long touchdown pass to Goliday, his third score of the game.

After a Coby Belton touchdown reception with 5:49 left in the third quarter, AHS led 56-29. The game looked to be all but over, except it wasn't.

The Panthers scored back-to-back touchdowns, cutting the lead to 56-49, before Adams answered the bell once again with a scoring strike.

Another score and a fourth-down turnover by Antioch gave FRA life, as they had the ball at its 37-yard line down by eight with 1:59 remaining.

FRA drove down the field quickly, then capped off the drive with [player_tooltip player_id='1106238' first='Michael' last='Hassell']'s third score of the game. Down by two, they would be forced to attempt a two-point try.

The Panthers pulled out a double pass that was intercepted in the end zone by Aaden “Bug” Adams to seal a 64-62 win for Antioch.

The Bears move to 8-0 on the season, the best start in program history.

Adams stole the show as he continues to prove he's one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. He compiled nine total touchdowns, essentially being the entire offense for Antioch in a 64-62 victory.

The junior signal caller is a true dual-threat player who can hurt you in multiple ways. He features a strong arm, great touch on his passes, good pocket awareness and a high football IQ.

On the ground, he's a monster as well. Adams is blazing fast while understanding how to use his legs effectively. His game is electric, and he will continue to rack up offers as Division I programs realize his talent.

2026 ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1106238' first='Michael' last='Hassell'] – FRA

Senior tailback [player_tooltip player_id='1106238' first='Michael' last='Hassell'] was outstanding, even in a loss. He was the catalyst for his team's comeback, scoring three touchdowns to keep them in the game before the passing attack finally arrived late in the game.

He's a bigger back with plenty of strength, but is athletic enough to break big runs or be a threat out of the backfield as a pass catcher. Hassell is a complete RB and somebody who should be on college boards.

2026 WR [player_tooltip player_id='966033' first='Brandon' last='Goliday'] – Antioch

Goliday was a beast in Antioch's victory over FRA. The senior wide receiver racked up well over 100 receiving yards to go along with three touchdowns.

He's slightly undersized at 6-foot-0 and 175 pounds but is extremely twitchy and athletic.

Goliday is a good route runner who consistently gets open, can high-point the football well, makes contested catches and is just an overall good receiver.

The 2026 recruit holds offers from Arkansas State, Eastern Kentucky and UT-Martin.

2027 DB [player_tooltip player_id='903033' first='Omarii' last='Sanders'] – FRA

I've watched [player_tooltip player_id='903033' first='Omarii' last='Sanders'] twice in person this season and was impressed both times. He was excellent once again on Thursday against Antioch, playing a vital role for the Panthers on both offense and defense.

He made multiple clutch catches to move the chains and get his team into striking distance. On defense, he performed well in center field but was ambushed by Adams and his receivers due to poor coverage by the cornerbacks.

Antioch constantly got behind the corners, and Sanders couldn't cover all four.

However, he was still highly productive on both sides and proved to be a freak athlete who is extremely twitchy and fluid.

2029 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1617205' first='Aaden' last='Adams'] – Antioch

Freshman wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1617205' first='Aaden' last='Adams'] was impressive as a smaller guy playing against a very physical defense. He created consistent separation and made big-time plays that not many 2029s would make.

He finished his day with around 100 receiving yards while delivering the most clutch play of the night, an interception on FRA's game-tying two-point try to seal the game.

Look for him to be a potential Division I recruit once he grows.
