We always like to get an early look at the freshmen who are putting in work. We know some guys you need to check out. They are doing their thing on the varsity level.

Jordan Husband

Husband is a player from Forrest County AHS who you are going to like. He is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound player who is doing some really good things. He is already going up to catch the football over players who are older than him. Husband is going to be a player who we think is going to start picking up some division one attention soon.

Derrious Burkhalter

Burkhalter is a 2029 linebacker from Noxubee County who you are going to want to keep up with. This kid is able to get in the mix with the older guys and hold his own. You are going to see him reading keys and dropping back in coverage with a lot of confidence. We do feel like there are few things he needs to work on, but college coaches should go ahead and get an early look at this kid.

Ja'marquis Beason

Beason is a player who is out there doing his thing. Beason is a 6-foot, 245-pound player who is going to have a chance to play on the college level. He is a player who has the potential to keep growing taller. We feel like this is a kid who college coaches are going to start taking a look at. This kid has a high motor and a lot of strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='1346484' first='Kemari' last='Thompson']

Thompson is a 2029 running back from Amite County (MS). We are going to get to see him play some good football for quite a few more years. Thompson is a good runner who knows how to get the football in the end zone. He is also a player who is going to play the game the right way. He knows how to get low and come in and make big plays. Thompson is also a player who is going to get loose in the trenches.
