My next set of call ups comes into the 2027 class in North Dakota, as we searched hard for 2027s on tape that are currently on our watchlist but are about to be called up to our 2027 North Dakota rankings. Here's the first five we called out this evening

Fynn is a quarterback out of TGU that is due for a boost up to our 2027 North Dakota rankings at the quarterback position. His tape against Dunseith tells me why, as Fynn shows that he can get out of the pocket and possess solid arm strength and touch throwing from the run. You also see how precise this young man could be as that throw gave his wide receiver plenty of room in the open field. There's development yet to come on his deeper throws as far as arch and timing, however as a 2027 prospect the upside has time to develop for Fynn.

Our next 2027 offensive call up in North Dakota comes from slotback/running [player_tooltip player_id='1300140' first='Brody' last='Neil'] of Grand Forks Red River. The route-running we saw against Bismarck St. Mary's passes the eye test especially on those quick short routes where you are just looking for a first down. The upside lies with getting yards after contact although I feel with watching Brody's vision in the kick return game, that corner could turn quick by spending more time in the weight room. As a multi sport athlete for the Roughriders, Brody is also on our radar on our sister site, Prep Hoops as well which is always a good sign.

Peyton is yet another athlete from the Thompson Tommies that is on the rise in our call ups this time from the North Dakota 2027 class. At this moment, linebacker seems like the ideal position fit for Peyton as he's usually the first contact made on the ball carrier from his recent game tape. He also shows off good position angles when he gets downhill. The upside? I would like to see more reps at linebacker that show how he gets off with his blocks but the 5'8 155 pounder is one that plays way above the measurables stick.

One of the more intriguing call ups we can make from our 2027 wide receiver list in my eyes is [player_tooltip player_id='1319908' first='Jevon' last='Johnson'] of Stanley. He's another prospect that hasn't posted much game tape thus far, but the value of the what is on his tape in my eyes appears valuable to watch. The 6'0 165 pounder has a long lower body and it doesn't take long to catch how long his strides are on his routes especially from the jump. I've heard good info from the Stanley coaching staff on Jevon, so I hope to see more on tape upcoming!

I will say it right now, one of the biggest call ups to our 2027 North Dakota rankings will be Grand Forks Central free safety [player_tooltip player_id='1314754' first='Tyson' last='Vanyo']. The 6'1 185 pounder has not only a sound and consistent prese around the ball, but also shows off how sudden he can be when coming downhill as backup in pass coverage for his linebacking core. Tyson also appears as a free safety you can find from sideline to sideline and not only will you see him on our 2027 rankings, but he should be in our top 5 or so for defensive backs, which is a high jump from the watch list!
