<p>But before we look ahead to the final month of the regular season, let's look at the players from the Lower State that had outstanding performances on Friday night.</p>

<p>The Stags were coming off a bye and they had a tune-up before region play in a 54-0 win over St. James. Rivers only played into the second quarter but finished 14-of-16 for 245 yards and four TD passes. Cleveland ended up being his top target with six catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns.</p>

<p>A lot of things went right for the Bishops in the 52-6 win over Woodland and a lot of it circled around the Tonon brothers. [player_tooltip player_id='1592547' first='Brody' last='Tonon'] scored three touchdowns, ran for 102 yards on seven carries, added two catches for 32 yards and registered six tackles on defense. [player_tooltip player_id='1582108' first='Trevor' last='Tonon'] did his damage on the defensive side of the ball with 10 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a caused fumble.</p>

<p>The Bengals defense was outstanding in the 46-0 win over Spring Valley. The Vikings only had 47 yards of total offense with a negative 30 yards on the ground. Young totaled four tackles, two tackles for loss (for a total of 14 yards), a sack and blocked a field goal. Long was just as good with four tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a half a sack. He also caused a fumble and recovered one as well.</p>

<p>Wofford leads the Knights with eight rushing touchdowns on the season and added two more on Friday in a 27-14 victory over Lower Richland. His one TD run went for 76 yards and he's now over 700 yards rushing on the season. </p>

<p>Green finished with 180 all-purpose yards as the Trojans knocked off Branchville 36-8. He carried it five times for 141 yards and two touchdowns. One of his scores was an 80-yard sprint. He also caught one pass for 33 yards and added six yards on a kickoff return. He also added a two-point conversion.</p>

<p>The Indians have been looking for help in the running game and Staley was able to provide that assistance in a 30-13 win over Aiken. He carried the ball 17 times for 100 yards and scored one of Gilbert's three rushing touchdowns. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1809066' first='Chandler' last='Guthrie']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1819929' first='Adam' last='Lepley']</strong> also scored touchdowns on the ground.</p>

<p>The War Eagles made a loud statement in a top 10 showdown 41-27 win over North Augusta. Wright was just making his second varsity start and he excelled by throwing for 376 yards and five touchdowns on 17-of-23 passing. Gleaton was the top target with five catches for 182 yards and touchdowns of 50 and 91 yards. Williamson (pictured above) got in on the act as well with three catches for 90 yards and touchdowns of 29 and 50 yards. Williamson also sealed the win with an interception late in the fourth quarter.</p>

Belk finished with three touchdown passes.</p>

<p>The Seahawks earned a 38-28 victory over Bluffton with Czarnecki playing a huge hand in it all. He ran for 75 yards and a touchdown on 17 attempts and added 15 tackles with one tackle for loss, one quarterback hurry and three passes defended.</p>

<p>Mitchell accounted for four touchdowns in the 38-0 victory over Georgetown. He finished with 253 All-Purpose yards – 206 yards rushing with three touchdowns, one reception for 22 yards and a touchdown and a 25-yard interception return. The Sharks only attempted one pass and that was the TD to Mitchell as they ran for 335 yards as a team.</p>

<p>Gaddy returned after missing a week of action and was big in the Seahawks 28-21 win over Cane Bay. Gaddy put Myrtle Beach ahead for good with a 55-yard touchdown pass to<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1664545' first='JJ' last='Brown'] </strong>in the first quarter. He later added a 20-yard TD to <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='816753' first='Rayvon' last='Green']</strong> that ended up being the game-winner. Brown opened the second half with an 80-yard touchdown jaunt that opened some cushion. </p>

<p>The Bulldogs offensive juggernaut continued along in a 35-7 win over Saluda. Wright was very disruptive and had two tackles for loss as they limited the Tigers to just 250 yards of total offense. Abrams averaged 6.3 yards per carry on 26 attempts and finished with 164 yards and a touchdown. Newberry finished with 26 first downs with 18 of them coming in the ground game.</p>

<p>The Charger did something that no SCISA team has been able to do since 2020. They defeated Hammond 23-10 Friday night with Johnson throwing for over 200 yards and touchdown passes to <strong>Drew Wolf</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1734610' first='Aydan' last='Hogan']</strong>. The Skyhawks had allowed just 30 points in the first five games of the season, but Johnson and company were able to move the ball and come away with some success with Johnson being a key to a lot of that. </p>

<p><strong>Silas Brawner</strong> QB, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1065555' first='Grayson' last='Salego']</strong> RB, Pinewood Prep</p>

<p>The duo of Brawner and Salego had a hand in nine touchdowns in a 69-28 win over Hilton Head Christian. Brawner finished with a QB rating of 137.6 as he completed 15-of-19 for 268 yards and five touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='896094' first='Lavoris' last='Lucas'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1821618' first='Jayden' last='Alexander'] each caught two TD passes with Tre Green hauling in the fifth. Salego toted it 14 times for 125 yards and four scores.</p>

<p>It didn't take long for the Blazers to jump to the lead in a 46-8 dismantling over Westwood and Bobian and Williams led the way. They both scored twice with Bobian leading the rushing attack with 191 yards rushing on a wet, rainy night. They scored all their touchdowns in the first half that helped Ridge View to jump to a 32-0 lead. </p>

<p>Brown started the 49-6 rout of Barnwell in spectacular fashion before getting to rest in the second half. Brown scored on the Bulldogs first offensive snap on a 56-yard run. On the next series, he scored from 73 yards out then on the next offensive series added a 68-yard TD run. In those first three series, he was over 200 yards rushing on four attempts. He finished his night with 219 yards on nine rushes. He also added a 10-yard touchdown reception to add to his overall special night.</p>

<p>Richardson was electric Friday in the 57-42 shootout victory over Lugoff-Elgin. Richardson accounted for six touchdowns – five rushing and one passing. He ran the ball 24 times for 223 yards and added 92 yards passing on 6-of-11 with a touchdown. And while the Gamecocks defense allowed 42 points. Thompson-Durant finished with 16 tackles and two pass breakups.</p>
