Week 3 Recap- Standout Offensive Performances Across the State

What a week!   Today, we're watching some of our Standout Performers on the offensive side of the ball. These prospects dominated this week and have been putting together some impressive seasons- we're all going to have to watch out for them moving forward.   With that being said, make sure you watch their film below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1603640' first='Sammy' last='Dunn'] has been terrific through Vigor's 4-0 start this fall, and had another standout performance last night.   “Dunn is an excellent decision-maker who thrives under pressure. He's quick to scan the field, makes good reads, takes care of the ball, and can deliver some beautiful throws on the run.   Dunn has some impressive arm talent- he places a lot of touch underneath his passes and can accurately deliver the ball all over the field, whether it be along the sideline, over the top, or across the middle.”   Last night, Dunn was unstoppable in his team's 39-26 win over UMS Wright. He was incredibly efficient, completing 21/29 passes for 296 yards and 3 TDs.   Make sure you watch some of Dunn's tape from Weeks 1-3. He's playing at a really high level and is dominating the 5A this season. Check him out below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1301122' first='Bryson' last='Riggins'] is one of the most productive passers in the state, and he put together another huge performance against Percy Julian last night.   “Riggins is an impressive passer in several different ways- he has some serious arm talent, navigates the pocket really well, and is a terrific processor who quickly reads defenses to find open WRs all over the field.   I think I'm most impressed with Riggins' improvisation and ability to avoid pressure. He's a tough QB to bring down who can deliver huge throws on the run while also having the mobility to turn upfield and create big gains on the ground“   Riggins went off against Percy Julian, completing 10-19 passes for 213 yards and 3 TDs in his team's 56-22 win.   I really believe Riggins is one of the most underrated and slept on passers in the state. Do yourself a favor and watch some of his tape below, you'll come away impressed:      [player_tooltip player_id='1670114' first='Jackson' last='Rhodes'] was one of our top performers last week and followed it up with an even more impressive game against Selma.   “Right off the bat, it's clear Rhodes is a talented passer, especially downfield. He's a quick processor who accurately leads his receivers downfield with great ball placement and touch. I REALLY like his release- he's quick to get the ball out and can put a ton of velocity on tight window throws.   It's hard to tell Rhodes is only a sophomore- he has some sweet plays where he pump fakes, forces DBs to bite, and exploits secondaries for massive gains through the air. With his football IQ and arm talent, he's set up for a huge junior season this fall- just watch.“   In just three quarters, Rhodes completed 9/11 passes for 263 yards and 5 TDs in his team's 56-6 win.   Rhodes has been lighting it up through the first four weeks of the season. We all need to watch for him moving forward. Check out some of his clips below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1888892' first='Mason' last='McClure'] is a shifty WR out of Spain Park who's finding a ton of success in his junior season.   "At 5'10 185, McClure has impressive speed, hands, and skills after the catch that make him a dangerous weapon out wide. He's quick out of his release, can gain lots of separation, and has the speed to turn upfield for some big gains.   I'm really impressed with how explosive McClure is. He has great acceleration and can change his direction effortlessly in the open field, leading to some huge gains after the catch. I'm excited to watch him progress more, he's having a great year."   McClure was a go-to target in his team's 38-14 victory over Helena, racking up 8 receptions, 136 all-purpose yards, and one TD.   Check out some of McClure's highlights from last night. He's a really talented prospect who's in the middle of a breakout season this fall- we're all going to have to watch out for him moving forward.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/iammasonmcclure/status/1966830399864393968 </div></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='1629160' first='Elijah' last='Tarver'] has been unstoppable for Carver's ground game this season, and put together another huge performance last night against Smiths Station.   “Tarver spent the day at camp competing at RB and really caught my eye- he plays with a ton of speed, has great size, and can easily make defenders miss- it's impressive to watch.   Tarver makes the most out of every carry- he's incredibly quick, plays with great speed, and is a massive threat in the open field, coming away with some huge plays on the ground.“   In a huge 47-0 win, Tarver did a lot with a little- recording only 9 carries for 120 plus yards and 2 TDs on the ground.
