Patriot @ Colonial Forge:

The Pioneers cant afford to go 0-2 after dropping a heartbreaker last week to Westfield. Dhevion Grant looks like the real deal at running back, they will need more production on the outside to keep up in this one. Colonial Forge meanwhile looks like the best team in the state with their high powered offense and stout defense. The Eagles have several division 1 prospects including [player_tooltip player_id='1593988' first='Jaylen' last='Carter'], Tayseun Jones, [player_tooltip player_id='1297628' first='Torie' last='Martin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1645084' first='Jeremiah' last='Wise']. I would expect fireworks in this matchup, Coach Finnerty's squad will be looking to start fast.

Woodbridge @ Gainesville:

After last week's result I do not what to make of Gainesville being shutout or Woodbridge dropping 50 plus points over a good Stafford team. The Vikings need to clean up some things defensively and have to much talent to give up 40 points again. Offensively quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='853949' first='Caleb' last='Tucker'] sure looks the part so far, he throw for over 200 yards and two scores in his first regular season start. For Gainesville they seem to be working out the kinks and I would anticipate them being much better in that regard later tonight. Two schools that have title aspirations and players that have transferred back and forth amongst each other, this has the making of a classic.

Fairfax @ Westfield:

Westfield returns home after their thrilling win over Patriot a week ago, the Bulldogs trailed late in that game when [player_tooltip player_id='1297938' first='Ryan' last='Carlson'] hit [player_tooltip player_id='1566389' first='Malachi' last='Lee'] on a 58 yard quick slant. Lee the future FBS prospect did most of the work and it sparked the tide in Westfield's favor. They will need to take better care of the football tonight as Fairfax comes across town looking to get into the win column. Fairfax was blanked 21-0 by Langley last week and with Coach Pannoni filling in temporarily as their Head Coach, you know he is not going to stand for that.

North Stafford @ Osbourn:

Both squads dropped heartbreakers a week ago but I still say that each school is playoff bound. Their is way too much talent between North Stafford and Osbourn so this one should be thrilling in Manassas tonight. Osbourn quarterback Anthony Donut Jackson was flawless in defeat a week ago, while [player_tooltip player_id='1639052' first='Caleb' last='Smoot'] continues to show why he is one of the top prospects in the nation. For the Wolverines it is truly special to watch [player_tooltip player_id='1311634' first='Kenaz' last='Sullivan'] in person, he passed the eye test in Haymarket a week ago. Starting qb [player_tooltip player_id='1310494' first='Chase' last='Sullivan'] is pretty darn good himself, he made some grown man throws against Battlefield.
