As you look over the ranked athletes in the State of Washington you see numerous individuals who could end up playing at a higher level than where they are currently committed. There are other players who currently don't have an offer but could in the near future.

Referenced below are a few WA athletes who project at the Mid Major (Pac 12) OR FCS level. The new Pac 12 Conference is set to kick off in the 2026-27' season, featuring Oregon St, Washington St, Boise St, Colorado St, Fresno St, San Diego St, Texas St, and Utah St.

[player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] 27' WR Graham Kapowsin

I could see Betz being one of the top ranked overall athletes in the West for the 27' class before he's done. The 5-11 170-pound receiver/ DB holds offers from Montana St and Portland St, but will be a 10-20 offer guy, with many Pac 12 schools coming in. His teammate [player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz'] could hold offers from some of the top programs nationally. That's how good this GK group is.

[player_tooltip player_id='726148' first='Zamarie' last='Tellez'] 26' ATH Federal Way (Committed: Eastern Washington)

There might be other factors which led to Tellez committing to EWU, but I would consider him an unquestioned FBS talent. His double digit offers from the likes of Arizona, Washington St, and San Diego St speak to his upside. He's not the biggest kid at 5-9 175 but the multiyear 1st team all-conference talent is consistently the best player on the field. Look for other Pac 12 schools to come in late.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165359' first='Isaiah' last='Docken'] 26' WR/TE Gonzaga Prep

The 6-5 215-pound WR/TE has a D1 body and all the tools with offers from Air Force and Portland St. His 800+ yards and double-digit TDs last year in a Wing T offense speak to his game. Look for some of those new Pac 12 schools to be paying close attention to him in the coming weeks. I don't see him slipping to a Big Sky School.

[player_tooltip player_id='991884' first='Scottie' last='Dinnwiddie Jr.'] 28' WR Decatur

Dinnwiddie is the real deal. He had one of the best freshman seasons of any 2028 athlete on the west coast and has started off this year the same way, catching 8 balls for 153 yards and 2 TDs in week 1. He will be a solid D1 collegiate receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241961' first='Will' last='Lynch'] 27' OL Lake Stevens

Lynch was a 1st team all-league selection as a sophomore and has the size necessary to play a high level of D1 ball. Things have been relatively quiet for him on the recruiting front but that could change quickly with Lake Stevens playing as well as anyone in the region.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165376' first='Jonah' last='Keller'] 26' RB Gonzaga Prep

I'll give it about another 5 minutes before this kid lands his first D1 offer. Keller is a GSL Player of Year favorite after earning back-to-back 1st team all-conference accolades the last two seasons. The Bullpups are a state title contender and Keller is a big reason why.

[player_tooltip player_id='726175' first='Brody' last='Bocek'] 26' WR/DB Richland

I've been hollering Bocek's name for a while and would expect multiple Big Sky's to potentially come in late on him. He went down early in the season as a junior with an injury but was dominant on both sides of the ball and as a kick returner, earning 1st team all-conference honors back-to-back years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368366' first='Malik' last='Burns'] 27' WR/ATH Spanaway Lake

Easily one of the most underrated players in the state of Washington. All he does is produce. As a sophomore he caught 32 balls for 595 yards and 9 TDs, earning 1st team all-league honors. Look for Burns to have a busy off season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188104' first='Royce' last='Miller'] 27' RB Kennedy Catholic

It's been a tough start to the year for Kennedy Catholic with losses to Bothell and Sumner. That being said Miller is back from injury and has D1 speed. If he can stay healthy and do his thing, I would expect him to be on multiple recruiting boards sooner than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369680' first='Dalton' last='Stevens'] 27' G Mark Morris

Stevens is another kid I've thought highly of since his freshman season. The 6-3 285-pound 2x all conference O lineman will project on the interior at Guard and could be the most fundamentally sound big man in the state. I would expect the Big Sky's to take notice.

[player_tooltip player_id='1659062' first='Parker' last='Stewart'] 27' T/DL Kelso

The brother of 6-6 275-pound Michigan St O Lineman Payton Stewart has a lot of potential and room for growth. He's still relatively lean and could be a steal at the FCS level. He earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and could develop nicely in college.
