[player_tooltip player_id='1591178' first='Rhylan' last='Moore'], QB Cardinal Ritter
Moore (5'8" 160)really impressed me this past spring and summer with his poise and skill as a quarterback playing like a much older player. He's smooth with how he runs an offense and has a very accurate and strong arm with a quick release and great ball placement putting it on the money for his target. He started slow and I knew he was going to see time at QB, but he has become the Lions leading passer throwing for 637 yards and 6 touchdowns verses only one pick while completing almost 70% of his passes. He's led them to back to back wins after getting most of the reps.

[player_tooltip player_id='1743321' first='Kali' last='Thomas'], WR/DB Vianney
A speedy playmaker at both receiver and as a defensive back. Thomas (5'9" 155) already runs good routes and knows how to find open space and get separation from defensive backs. He's made the most of his opportunities as a weapon on offense averaging 26.9 yards per catch on 12 receptions as the leading receiver with 323 yards and 2 touchdowns in an offense the spreads the ball around. He also has shown his talents on the defensive side of the ball recording 18 total tackles through the first for games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1781023' first='Bass' last='Dixon'], DE/RB Ladue
Mr. Dixon does not look like your average freshman with his physical development at 6'0" 220 and having spent some quality time in the weight room. He starts for the Rams at one of their defensive end spots and has lived up to the confidence the coaching staff had in starting a freshman. Bass has responded well and leads the team in sacks with 7 through five game and has over 20 tackles. He's explosively quick off the edge and has good technique for a freshman in using his hands and leverage. He also runs down plays and is very physical and shows good strength fighting off blocks. I got the chance to see him carry the ball last night and it took almost all eleven defenders to stop him. Look for big things ahead.

Michael Werges OT Eureka
The big freshman Werges (6'5" 285) is the starting left tackle in a program known for producing D1 offensive linemen. They grow the kids big in that part of St. Louis. Besides having great size for a freshman, Werges has nice skills already that he is still developing, but is a good run blocker and is solid protecting his QB's blind spot with pass pro in the Wildcats balanced and productive offense in helping them to a 4-0 record to start the year. Look for big things from this rising lineman.

[player_tooltip player_id='1694152' first='Mason' last='Coleman'], LB MICDS
Another young defender who has stepped up and done his job very well is the (6'0" 200) linebacker Coleman, who also is physically ahead of the game and ready to play against upperclassmen and do well. Mason is the younger brother of teammate and Army OL commit [player_tooltip player_id='849685' first='Miles' last='Coleman'] (6'3" 295), so it runs in the family. The younger Coleman is strong, quick and fast who reads plays well from his middle linebacker spot and flies to the ball shedding blocks and making tackles. He's recorded 16 total tackles and a fumble recover in his first action these first four games of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1910948' first='CJ' last='Fennell'], DB Vianney
The Griffins brought in a talented freshman class, and along with Thomas have had another playmaking starter step up on the defensive side in Fennell (5'10" 165) who is getting the job done at safety for them. CJ is a very good athlete and has good speed. He plays well against the pass and the run and has already racked up 31 tackles in his first four games of high school football.
