2026 RB Larry Martin ( 5'7" 160) lifted his team when he needed to and ran the ball with intensity and would not be denied in the second half of the game . The senior running backs 110 yards and 3 touchdowns (51, 31and 10 yards) on 10 carries was the difference in the 35-27 win. Martin is a compact and quick back with surprising speed and strength as he broke tackles, had the quickness to make moves and showed impressive breakaway speed.

2028 QB Trevor Beckermann (6'1" 185) was equally impressive in leading his team's offense and showing a lot of maturity, poise and getting the ball where it needed to be to keep drives going. Trevor is athletic and mobile enough to keep plays alive under pressure and look down field to find open receivers. His 17 for 22 passing for 258 yards and 32-yard touchdown pass helped keep the Pirates in the game at important times. He has a good arm and showed impressive accuracy and placement on his passes.

2026 WR Jerrail West (6'3" 176) is an explosive athlete who makes be plays with key catches and his ability to run with the ball on designed plays or after the catch. He is physical and has good size to go along with his track speed that make him a tough match up for defensive backs. He was responsible for two touchdowns for his team. One rushing and one on the 32-yard score through the air. He finished with 8 catches for 144 yards receiving and 26 tards rushing on 3 carries. A definite college prospect to watch for.

2027 OL [player_tooltip player_id='1326747' first='Evan' last='Bryant'] (6'2" 270) has been the Pirates starting center since he was a freshman and anchor of it's offensive line. The power Bryant helped open the holes on the four rushing touchdowns for his team and went against some talented defensive linemen and linebackers for the Huskies. Evan is a skilled offensive lineman who is athletic, with quick feet, uses his hands well and has good strength and understanding off leverage.

RITENOUR

2027 QB Anthony Odom (6'0" 180) played about as good of a game as you can as a quarterback on Saturday. It was a shame to see the dual-threat talent come up just short after throwing for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns on 21 of 28 passing. He also was the Huskies leading rusher with 104 yards and a score on 15 carries. Odom plays quick and reads plays and makes quick decisions with the ball showing pinpoint passing and placement on his throws when he finds he target or knowing when to take off and run. He has a strong arm and a very good understanding of his offense. He displays good leadership qualities and has completed almost 73% of his passes in the first four games of the season.

2027 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1324015' first='Montrey' last='Banks'] (5'9" 180) is a big play waiting to happen. The speedy receiver did a great job getting open and making catches the whole game. He runs good routes, gets separation and uses good body placement to ward off defensive backs and make the grab. The sure-handed receiver finished the game with 9 catches for 113 and a couple scores. He is also a talented returner and threat to score on special teams.

2026 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1610000' first='Laron' last='Ramsey'] (5'8" 176) is another speedy target who is dangerous in open space and threat to take it to the house on a short throw or on a deep pass. Ramsey was QB Odom's number two weapon and receiving target during the game and is also a talented returner. He finished with 7 catches for 80 yards in the loss.
