Recruiting Report (9/10)- Newest Offers Around the State

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some of the recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have been on fire this week, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1626485' first='DJ' last='Broughton'] is a talented pass catcher from Mary G. Montgomery who has been off to a great start this season.   “At 6'5 215, Broughton is a matchup nightmare for opposing DBs. He uses his size to his advantage in a bunch of different ways- consistently dominating DBs by mossing them deep downfield, playing through contact to haul in catches, and never being brought down after first contact.   Broughton is especially dominant in the red zone. Last season, he was incredibly consistent and came away with a ton of huge scoring plays for his offense. One thing that really stood out to me with Broughton's tape was his versatility- he lines up almost everywhere on the field, and can make plays outside, in the slot, and even at TE in certain packages.”   A few days back, Broughton picked up an offer from Auburn! I won't be shocked if more are soon to follow. He's a talented prospect who's performing at a high level this year.   Check out some of his film below:      CJ Gardner is a talented pass catcher out of Daphne who's been picking up a good bit of attention from the next level this year.   "At 6'2 180, Gardner has the size, speed, and route running to cause problems for opposing secondaries. He can attack multiple levels of the field with how much separation he creates off his routes- and after the catch, he's an even bigger problem, using his vision and speed to carve up defenses for huge plays in the open field.   I'm incredibly impressed with Gardner's skills downfield. He's a master at hauling in contested passes- his size, vertical, and catch radius make him a huge threat downfield who can get up and haul in some incredibly impressive receptions."   In the last week, Gardner has picked up offers from UT Martin and Tuskegee Academy! [player_tooltip player_id='1621009' first='Nehemiah' last='McCary'] is one of the top RBs in the nation's 2028 class and has found a ton of attention from top-tier programs this year.   “At 6'3 200, McCary has great size, contact balance, and breakaway speed in the open field that helps him consistently create explosive plays on the ground. With his size, McCary is a hard guy to tackle. He's great at lowering his shoulder and trucking through defenders and has contact balance he uses to always stay on his feet.   One of the things that makes McCary especially dangerous on the ground is his elusiveness- he can straight up run through your face, but can also make you miss with how quick he is on his feet. McCary has even made plays on defense; he's an athletic player with tons of potential wherever he lines up.“   McCary picked up another big offer from Auburn this past week. He's been blowing up in the recruiting world, and I don't think that'll stop anytime soon.   Make sure you watch some of McCary's tape below. He's a really gifted sophomore with a ton of potential.      [player_tooltip player_id='1225913' first='Karlos' last='May'] is a dominant DL recruit in the state's 2027 class that a lot of next-level programs have taken notice of this summer.   “May is a relentless pass rusher with tons of potential- he has great size and speed he uses to completely overwhelm opposing OL, fighting off double teams (sometimes even triple) to get to the QB and make plays. It's impressive watching May rush the passer- more often than not, Ramsay only rushes 3 and still can produce tons of pressure/sacks in the backfield with how dominant May is upfront.   May is also a terrific run defender. He completely closes up rushing lanes by himself, generating great penetration on the LOS and taking down the ball carrier for little to no gain every time offenses run the ball his way.“   May picked up offers from Ohio State and Arkansas in the past week, further solidifying himself as one of the top DL talents in the state.
