Norris' [player_tooltip player_id='1085202' first='Evan' last='Greenfield'] didn't just win in his first QB varsity start, but he had made a statement against the reigning Class B champions. Greenfield looked poised running the offense and was efficient as he completed 10 of his 12 pass attempts for 151 yards and two touchdowns, and led the Titans to a 49-3 victory over Skutt Catholic. Evan displayed an accurate arm, especially on this 48-yard touchdown, where he finds his receiver in stride deep downfield, who then walks in for the score. One part of his game that doesn't necessarily show on the stat sheet is his mobility and how good he is on his feet, both when evading the pass rush and when looking to extend plays outside of the pocket. He had a rushing touchdown and another that was called back. Evan does a good job keeping his eyes downfield while moving through his progressions, looking for the open target. I'm excited to see how this offense begins to open up as Greenfield continues to settle into this role.

Senior RB [player_tooltip player_id='488222' first='Nathan' last='Axmann'] looked sharp in the Vikings' season opener win over Bennington. In a gritty battle featuring two Class B contenders, Nathan's efforts made the difference as he carried the ball 38 times for 258 yards and two touchdowns. Axmann seemed nearly impossible to corral on Friday night, especially with his ability to find outside running lanes and the burst to break free for big runs. He is a patient runner who allows his blocks to set up in front of him as he identifies open lanes. He's a strong runner who is unfazed by arm tackle attempts and has a balanced base to stay upright as he absorbs contact. Nathan has enough twitch to make defenders whiff on tackles and is surprisingly shifty in tight spaces for a bigger back at 6'0", 190 pounds. Nathan opened up the season with a big game and an offer from Morningside... good momentum for what should be a monster season!

Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1870044' first='Kingston' last='Moore'] exploded for a huge three-touchdown game in the Wolverines' season opener win against Omaha South. Kingston put on an explosive display as he recorded two catches for 109 yards and a receiving touchdown. He also flashed on special teams with over 100 return yards and two punt returns for touchdowns. On offense, he did a great job using his speed to threaten defenses vertically while displaying great tracking ability on the deep ball. Strong hands and good concentration through the process. Kingston's mix of top-tier vision and speed, along with his ability to find cutback lanes, showed why he was able to find paydirt twice (and almost a third). Exciting young prospect to monitor closely!

Another new name on my radar is Elkhorn South senior [player_tooltip player_id='1868637' first='Bradley' last='Bationo']. Bradley stood out physically and with his play on the field as he recorded four tackles and two sacks. At 6'5" and 240 pounds, Bradley has the size that projects well to the collegiate level with room to continue filling out his frame. He also has good length on his frame, which allows him to create separation at the line of scrimmage. Bationo has a solid first step, showing that he can fire out of his stance and shoot his gap with urgency. Once he's broken into the opposing backfield, Bradley does a good job tracking the ball with the burst to finish the play, as shown by his two sacks. Lots of upside here, definitely someone that could be a late-riser in the 2026 cycle!

Here's an 8-man prospect you won't want to miss! Hartington-Newcastle's [player_tooltip player_id='1814896' first='Carter' last='Kelly'] had a stellar performance in the Wildcats' 49-26 win over Ainsworth. The two-way standout recorded three receptions, 91 receiving yards, 13 tackles, four TFLs, and three sacks. At 6'5" and 200 pounds, Carter has a frame that projects well to several positions at the collegiate level, including TE and defensive end. On offense, Carter's size creates instant mismatches while also having the strength and toughness to be a reliable target over the middle of the field. He showed some nice burst when turning upfield, which resulted in some nice gain after the catch. Flashed as a blocker. Defensively, he plays with a great motor and is explosive when shooting his gaps. His long strides allow him to close on the ball effectively while getting his long arms up to disrupt passing lanes. High-ceiling prospect here as Carter continues to grow physically and can make the jump to 11-man at the next level.
