The season has QUICKLY flown by as we are now at the halfway point! Over the past five weeks, there have been many exciting games, players, and moments that have caught everyone's attention. This week, instead of just posting our PRZNE Class Rankings on Instagram, I decided to provide a quick breakdown, including a look at how the season has progressed so far for each of the Top 10 teams.

- Garden County (5-0): The Garden County Eagles check in as our #1 6-man team for a second week after knocking off reigning champs Stuart (28-14) last week and handling business against South Platte (70-22) this week. They have also beaten Crawford (82-25), Cody-Kilgore (52-15), and Medicine Valley (73-6) en route to their 5-0 record.

- Leyton (4-0): Leyton moves up to the #2 spot as they continue to pad their resume with another win over a quality opponent in Potter-Dix (43-12). They have also traveled to Colorado to take on Fleming (36-20), as well as convincing wins against Sioux County (52-12) and Crawford (85-38).

- Stuart (4-1): The reigning 6-man champions bounced back nicely from their first loss of the season with their first shutout victory of the year, beating Santee 68-0. Aside from their Week 4 loss to Garden County (28-14), they have an impressive victory over SEM (31-6), as well as wins against Silver Lake (41-19) and Cody-Kilgore (75-8).

- SEM (3-1): Last year's 6-man runner-up, SEM is still firmly in the title hunt with a 4-1 record and momentum going into a tough second half of the season. SEM lost a championship rematch with Stuart (31-6), but have taken care of business otherwise with wins against Ansley-Litchfield (44-12), Shelton (41-20), and Medicine Valley (61-28).

- Southwest (4-0): The Southwest Roughriders look primed to make a deep playoff run with one of the more explosive offenses in the 6-man ranks. They have marched out to a 4-0 record and are fresh off their huge win over previously unbeaten #8 Wallace (45-30) with wins over Harvard (69-12), Arthur County (42-18), and South Platte (59-8) also on their resume.

- Hampton (4-0): Not much movement for the Hampton Hawks who received somewhat of a second bye-week with Heartland Lutheran's forfeiture. It came at a good time too, as they were fresh off knocking Pawnee City from the unbeaten ranks in a close 27-24 affair. The Hawks have also beaten Parkview Christian (43-14) and Harvard (89-0) to get to 4-0.

- Wallace (3-1): Some other losses across 6-man stop Wallace's drop at #8 after losing their first game of the season to #6 Southwest (45-30). Before then, the Wildcats had beaten Arthur County (44-36), Creek Valley (48-12), South Platte (66-32).

- Pawnee City (3-1): Pawnee City sits at 3-1 record at the halfway point with a win to get back on track after their first loss of the season. Pawnee City bested Parkview Christian 40-13 to avenge their 27-24 loss to Hampton. They have also picked up wins against Meridian (28-22) and Dorchester (41-6).

- Wauneta-Palisade (4-0): Wauneta-Palisade has raced out to a 4-0 record at the halfway point, which should set them up nicely before they go on a brutal stretch of their schedule. The Broncos have taken down a pair of Colorado teams in Fleming (34-6) and Flagler (48-16), while also beating South Platte (44-28) and Paxton (66-20) in convincing wins.
