1 - Cedar Catholic (5-0): The Cedar Catholic Trojans take the top spot after a convincing 24-7 win over a strong West Point-Beemer team and move to 5-0 on the year. Overall, the Trojans have a strong resume, highlighted by wins over #7 Boone Central (21-14) and #6 Archbishop Bergan (21-20), as well as blowout victories over Wayne and Tekamah-Herman.

2 - Bishop Neumann (5-0): Bishop Neumann holds possibly the best win of the season when they ended the Norfolk Catholic Knights 39 39-game win streak in Week 1 with a 21-14 final score. Since then, they've been able to take care of business with a close 28-27 win over West Point-Beemer and big wins over 3-2 Yutan, Hastings St. Cecilia, and Palmyra.

3- Norfolk Catholic (4-1): It was a bit of a slow start for the reigning 3-peat champions, suffering their first loss in over three seasons in their season opener against Bishop Neumann and then squeaking past Boone Central in week 2. Since then, it seems like Norfolk Catholic has found its groove with wins against North Bend Central (42-26), Arlington (35-7), and Ponca (42-3).

Even with a loss on the resume, it was a hard-fought battle against the #1 team in C2, Cedar Catholic, which ended in a 21-20 tie. Aside from that game, they have handled business at every turn with big wins against Conestoga (42-3), Ponca (40-7), Battle Creek (47-6), and Yutan (35-7).
