[player_tooltip player_id='415161' first='Braeden' last='Presley'] - Senior Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Bixby

Bixby senior and Oklahoma State commit [player_tooltip player_id='415161' first='Braeden' last='Presley'] got his senior season started with a bang as the Spartans rolled to a 49-21 win over Owasso. Between Presley's last game of his junior season in the state title game and the first game of his senior season, he's been borderline unstoppable on the offensive side of the ball. Combine that with his abilities as a cornerback and you have one of the top two-way players in the state. You can make the argument that Presley's performance in the 2024 state championship game was the best of his career and now he has another performance to rival that after week zero. Offensively, Presley showcased quite a bit. He got behind the defense with his speed for an 87-yard touchdown in the second half. before that, he caught a corner route on the Bixby sideline and then was methodical in working towards the end zone, making defenders miss and dragging another defender the last few yards to the goal line. Defensively, he had a big break up in the end zone on Owasso's first drive that helped set the tone. Now, the Spartans travel to Sand Springs.

[player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] - Senior Running Back - Jenks

Jenks senior running back and Oklahoma State commit [player_tooltip player_id='402378' first='KD' last='Jones'] is in a similar boat to Presley where you couldn't have scripted a better start to the senior season. Jenks went over to Edmond and beat Santa Fe 51-7 and they had a dominant performance on the offensive side of the ball. Jones finished with over 200 yards of total offense and five touchdowns on the night. Everybody in the state at this point knows about Jones and his ability as a running back. But what is so underrated is his abilities as a pass catcher. He had several big catches, including a touchdown in the win on Friday. He also had multiple touchdowns negated by flags so it could have been more than five. Jones also showed that he's a threat in the return game as he took a punt back for another score but that was one of the touchdowns that got overturned because of a penalty. Overall, it was a fast start for the Oklahoma State commit and we shouldn't be surprised at this point. Jones has been a standout since his freshman season and he's only continued to elevate the bar of his play over the last three years. Jones and the Trojans travel to Owasso Friday.

[player_tooltip player_id='284117' first='Mason' last='James'] - Senior Wide Receiver - Norman North

Norman North senior wide receiver and Washington commit [player_tooltip player_id='284117' first='Mason' last='James'] kicks off his senior campaign Friday night against rival Norman. James is another player that immediately got on the radar during his freshman season. Ironically, at that time, he was known as a two-way player for offense and defense. But starting during his sophomore season, he emerged as a legitimate D1 WR prospect and that's only gotten stronger. To the point where James has become the top wide receiver in the state's 2026 class and one of the best '26 WR prospects nationally. Last season, James earned All State 1st Team honors and he comes into this season looking to back up all the hype. This offseason, after being recruited by programs all over the nation, James eventually settled on Washington. His combination of blazing speed after the catch and route running make him a nightmare for defenses to defend. James is looking to leave no doubt that he's the best wide receiver in the state and with that, one of, if not the best overall player in the state this season.
