10. St. Anthony's (Last Week, NR)

Before we begin yes I am aware the Friars sit at 1-2 through three games this season. The Friars have played McDonogh (MD), and Don Bosco (NJ), who are both National powerhouses in their respective state. In the McDonogh game, the Friars put up a good fight, keeping with the Eagles for the first three quarters before ending the game with a score of 38-21. McDonogh is 2-1 on the season with a loss against Archbishop Spalding, making them a quality opponent. Don Bosco blew the Friars out 28-0, in a disappointing game. Don Bosco is undefeated with wins against schools from Florida and Texas. The Ironmen played a tough physical game against the Friars giving them the second loss of the year. The lone win for St. Anthony's came against a good University Prep team 35-20. The Friars record hurts them on this list, but the level of competition and the scores of the games help keep St. Anthony's on the list at 10.

9. Monroe (Last Week, NR)

Through two games this season, the Red Jackets sit at 2-0. Monroe played Rochester Prep in Week One, and Eastridge this past weekend. The main reason the Red Jackets are ranked in the top ten is their offense. Through two games the offense has scored 134 points, averaging 67 points per game in 2025. On the other side of the ball, through eight quarters, the Red Jackets defense has allowed just 2 points. Why isn't Monroe higher? Rochester Prep, is 0-2 this season and have yet to score points, making them a non quality opponent. Eastridge is 1-1 with a solid win over East in Week One, making them a solid win for the Red Jackets. Monroe is a wildcard team given their level of competition, but their offense and defense are rolling, making them hard to not rank.

8. Sayville (Last Week, NR)

Sayville has played one game this season, and currently sits at 1-0 in 2025. The Golden Flashes are led by one of the top QB's in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='747206' first='Patrick' last='Coan']. Dating back to last season, Sayville has won 12/13 games with a three point loss to Garden City 31-28 in the playoffs. The Golden Flashes made the playoffs this past season, along with going undefeated in the playoffs. Sayville started the season with a win against Half Hollow Hills West, 32-0. Last Season the Colts went 9-2 with both of their losses coming at the hands of Sayville. With a top QB, and only one loss dating back to the start of 2024, Sayville comes in at #8.

7. Cardinal Hayes (Last Week, NR)

Cardinal Hayes sits 1-1 in 2025. The Cardinals picked up a massive Week One win in Albany, taking down St. Joseph Collegiate from Buffalo 28-14, with a backup QB. The Marauders, sit at 1-1 on the season, after bouncing back into the win column against solid Jamestown team. Week Two was the opposite for Cardinal Hayes, as they faced off against St. Joseph Reigonal, in NJ. The Green Knights won the matchup 48-0, to move to 3-0 on the season. Level of competition keeps Cardinal Hayes in the top ten, as with a backup QB they have gone 1-1, against teams who have a combined 4-1 record in 2025. St. Joseph Reigonal, also took down St. John's (DC) with shows how good the Green Knights are. Hayes had one of the top wins in Week One, with Week 2 being a complete 360.

6. St. Francis (Last Week, NR)

St. Francis sits at 2-0 in 2025. The Red Raiders had a 5-5 season, but picked up some big time transfers from across the state including, Aidan Hopwood, Tyrone Clark, [player_tooltip player_id='1649130' first='Romello' last='Dunn'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1364035' first='Alexander' last='Bacon']. The roster for St. Francis is loaded this season, and they look to top the boards in the Monsignor Martin League. The Red Raiders started off the season with a win against Jackson (OH) in a 42-35 shootout. They followed up their win, with a close game against St. Andrew's. Combined they have two wins with a total of 12 points as a differencial, making it hard to rank them higher. Regardless, St. Francis is 2-0 and playing some great football in WNY.
