Chaminade makes its first appearance to the power rankings, following a huge win over Archbishop Stepinac. The Flyers played in the game of the week Friday Night, picking up a 24-23 win in OT over the Crusaders. The game was back and forth, and the Flyers made a key 2pt conversion stop to win the game. Standing at 3-1, they have won three straight games, after a Week 0 loss to La Salle Academy. Week One they bounced back majorly against Randolph Campus, with a 34-7 win moving to 1-1. Week Two, the Flyers took down Seton Hall Prep (NJ), 25-22 in OT. This Flyers team is gritty and will compete in the Catholic League.

4. Rye (Last Week, 5)

Rye is the best team in Section One. The Garnets sit at 3-0 to stat 2025, wins over Somers, Fox Lane, and Middletown. Week One against Middletown, Rye won 63-20, against a Middletown team that bounced back in Week Two against Warwick. Somers entered Week Two, with a 45 game win streak over Section One Opponents dating back to 2019. Rye ended the winning streak this past Friday with a 17-7 win over Somers. In Week Three, the Garnets took over at Fox Lane, with an offensive show case. The duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1529592' first='Henry' last='Shoemaker'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1229592' first='Carson' last='Miller'] is on of the top in the state. With the loss of Archbishop Stepinac, the Rye Garnets move up to #4 this week.

3. Garden City (Last Week, 4)

Garden City has the longest winning streak in the State. The Trojans have won their last 50 games, and multiple Division III titles in the past few years. Garden City has played one game this year, with a matchup against Long Beach. The Trojans came out on top 31-16, against the Marine. While Garden City has played one game this season, the team's last loss came in 2019, which was over six years ago. The fact that the Trojans have continued to win, puts them among the best teams in the state. While Garden City would probably lose to some teams lower on the list, their win streak, and dominate in these wins, keeps them on the list. The loss to Chaminade by Archbishop Stepinac, moves them into the top three.

2. CBA-Syracuse (Last Week, 2)

The Brothers are fresh off a championship, which was won off a last second hail mary. Through three games this season, CBA-Syracuse sits at 3-0. Wins have came against Whitesboro, West Genesee, and CBA-Albany to start the season. The Brother's look dominant, and the best team in Section Three. Their Week three win ended with a final score of 56-7, which is why they continue to retain their #2 position on the Power Rankings. The remainder of the schedule brings some tough matchups for the Brother's, allowing us to see how good they truly are.

1. Iona Prep (Last Week, 1)

Iona Prep Continues their dominance among the top teams in the state. The Gaels sit at 3-0 through the first portion of their 2025 schedule. Week one we saw Iona Prep, end the Somers win streak with an impressive 37-7 win in Albany. The Gales backed that up in Week Two, with a close 58-48 win against a tricky Paramus Catholic Squad. Week three brought their first Catholic League game against St. Joseph By The Sea. The Gaels dominated, allowing 0 points, and winning 34-0. With the continued success of Coach Spagnolo, and Iona Prep, the Gaels will remain as the #1 team in the state. The next five games create matchups against St. Anthony's, Chaminade, Monsignor Farrell, Kellenberg Memorial, and Cardinal Hayes this upcoming week. With these top ten matchups, we will see some changes in this Power Rankings list.
