10. Erasmus Hall (Last Week, NR)

Welcome to the list Erasmus Hall. In last week's rankings, I had Dutchmen ranked just outside the top ten. Erasmus Hall sits at 2-1 on the season, after opening up 2025 with a loss to Easton Area (PA). The Dutchmen competed throughout that game, and finished with a 44-32 final score, showing they can compete against out of state competition. After a loss to start the season, E-Hall, has amounted back to back shutout wins against Kennedy, and New Dorp. In the last two games, the Dutchmen have outscored their opponents by a total score of 82-0. The level of competition E-Hall plays, and their performance the last two weeks, grants them their first appearance in the top ten.

9. Sayville (Last Week, 8)

Sayville has played two games this season, and currently sits at 1-0 in 2025. The Golden Flashes are led by one of the top QB's in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='747206' first='Patrick' last='Coan']. Dating back to last season, Sayville has won 12/13 games with a three point loss to Garden City 31-28 in the playoffs. The Golden Flashes made the playoffs this past season, along with going undefeated in the playoffs. Sayville started the season with a win against Half Hollow Hills West, 32-0. Following a week one win, the Golden Flashes had an offensive showcase, with a 56-35 win over East Islip. Sayville falls one slot this week due to impressive performances by other teams in the state.

8. St. Anthony's (Last Week, 10)

Last week I had the Friars slotting in at the number 10 slot with a 1-2 record. The Friars have played a grueling schedule to start 2025, with teams like McDonogh, Don Bosco Prep (NJ), University Prep, and Kellenburg Memorial the four teams St. Anthony's has played this season. Through four games the Friars have a 2-2 record with given the competition is fair. Due to loses by teams like St. Francis, and an impressive 48-20 win against Kellenburg Memorial, the Friars move up on my list to the #8 slot. The Friars have momentum, and are a team that scares me in the Catholic League.

7. Monsignor Farrell (Last Week, NR)

The Lions have been a top 15 team in the state for the whole season. I was ready to have them in the top ten last week, but a loss against Delbarton kept them out. TheLions were one of a few Catholic League schools to play in Week Zero, picking up a 45-0 win over South Shore. We saw coach RDP and his Monsignor Farrell squad Week One against CBA-Albany, where the Lions played lights out and picked up a huge 35-12 win to move to 2-0 on the young season. Monsignor Farrell, bounced back this week against St. Peter's in a huge 48-13 win, solidifying them as one of the top Catholic League squads in 2025. Led by Sophomore's Bryce, and [player_tooltip player_id='1278754' first='Braxton' last='Moye'], the Lions look unstoppable to start the season.

6. Cardinal Hayes (Last Week, 7)

Cardinal Hayes sits 1-1 in 2025. The Cardinals picked up a massive Week One win in Albany, taking down St. Joseph Collegiate from Buffalo 28-14, with a backup QB. The Marauders, sit at 1-1 on the season, after bouncing back into the win column against solid Jamestown team. Week Two was the opposite for Cardinal Hayes, as they faced off against St. Joseph Reigonal, in NJ. The Green Knights won the matchup 48-0, to move to 3-0 on the season. Level of competition keeps Cardinal Hayes in the top ten, as with a backup QB they have gone 1-1, against teams who have a combined 4-1 record in 2025. St. Joseph Reigonal, also took down St. John's (DC) with shows how good the Green Knights are. Hayes had one of the top wins in Week One, with Week 2 being a complete 360. Due to the St. Francis loss, Hayes moves up one spot. The next three games are utterly grueling for the Cardinals, with Iona Prep, Archbishop Stepinac, and St. Anthony's. We can see a lot of shakeups with this list soon, as all three are top 15 teams in the state in my eyes.
