It was an action-packed week four of high school football action in the state of Tennessee as I stopped by Page High School in Franklin for a huge non-district matchup between the Bruins and the Patriots. Page would go on to shut out Brentwood 30-0. After catching the game, here's my full game recap as well as my top performers.

In the first place spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='402552' first='Jordan' last='Curll'], an offensive lineman at Page High School. Curll was unstoppable on both sides, hauling in a clutch interception and breaking multiple tackles on his way into the redzone during the first quarter. Curll also stood offensively on the line of scrimmage with his size and ability to absorb contact in the pocket. Curll was a wall that Brentwood couldn't get around all game long.

I was additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='853120' first='Cayden' last='Aukerman'], a wide receiver at Page High School. Aukerman was impossible to contain down the stretch as the Samford commit hauled in not one, but two touchdowns on the night. Aukerman's electric speed off the snap helped him break free from the defense and get wide open for the touchdown pass. I also liked how Aukerman could elevate off the ground to catch the deep ball.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='1532741' first='James' last='Pierre'], a running back at Page High School. Pierre was highly explosive for the Patriots on the ground, proving his ability to consistently break tackles and use bursts of speed to race into enemy territory. Pierre made his presence known all throughout the contest, especially in the second quarter when he ran in a touchdown.

Another skilled prospect that made his presence known was [player_tooltip player_id='1472458' first='Colt' last='Brown'], an athlete at Page High School. Brown stood out in the second half of the game, running right through Brentwood's defense on his way into the endzone. Brown's size, speed, and playmaking ability was evident in all four quarters.

Coming in at number five on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='1646108' first='Drew' last='Rempel'], an athlete at Page High School. Rempel impressed me with his explosiveness down the stretch, showcasing his ability to haul in a number of impressive passes, helping the Patriots to convert on third down several times. In addition to great size and speed, I like Rempel's catching ability and versatile edge when battling the defense in the backfield. Rempel also stood out with his ability to return the kick for a huge gain.

Also worth mentioning is [player_tooltip player_id='693877' first='Cameron' last='Kruse'], a quarterback at Page High School. Kruse played very well at the helm of the Patriots' offense, proving he can complete the pass and run the ball down the field himself. I liked Kruse's pin-point accurate passing, making a number of impressive deep passes throughout the evening. I also liked how Kruse could pick up speed on the ground, showing off his ability to run past the defense for the first down.

Game Recap

The Patriots were locked in on their first drive of the contest as [player_tooltip player_id='693877' first='Cameron' last='Kruse'] quickly connected with [player_tooltip player_id='853120' first='Cayden' last='Aukerman'] for the touchdown pass. Brentwood's offense ran into trouble early on as a pass from [player_tooltip player_id='904978' first='Gavin' last='Strang'] was picked off by [player_tooltip player_id='402552' first='Jordan' last='Curll'] as the WKU commit broke multiple tackles on his way to the redzone. The Patriots would settle for a field goal as Page took a 10-0 lead over Brentwood. The Patriots struck again at the top of the second quarter as [player_tooltip player_id='1532741' first='James' last='Pierre'] punched into the endzone for the touchdown. The Patriots led the Bruins 17-0 with 9:06 remaining in the first half. Page put one more touchdown on the board before the end of the first half as Aukerman hauled in his second touchdown of the game. The Patriots led the Bruins 24-0 at the half. Page scored again at the bottom of the third quarter as [player_tooltip player_id='1472458' first='Colt' last='Brown'] shook several tackles on his way into the endzone. Page would go on to complete the shutout, defeating Brentwood 30-0 and improving to 3-0 on the season.
