(-25.5) #1 Lake Oswego @ #10 Newberg

LO has defeated its first three opponents 112-10, with an impressive 21-0 shutout over #3 Central Catholic last week. As good as POY favorite [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] and QB [player_tooltip player_id='402409' first='Hudson' last='Kurland'] are offensively, the play on D has been the key. They are a lock down group with very few weaknesses.

(-1.5) #2 West Linn @ #2 Sumner WA

This is a tough one to predict. West Linn is young but has looked outstanding thus far. They came back last season to beat the reigning Washington 4A state champ Sumner 34-27 at home. This year they go on the road to play an experienced team that lost to Lake Stevens 31-28 in week 1. I would expect this game to be decided in the final minutes.

(-11) #3 Central Catholic @ #7 Jesuit

I would consider this a statement game for Jesuit. A win would be a huge momentum boost. CC was shutout by an Oregon team for the first time in 8 years last week, but they have numerous D1 guys and should be able to bounce back.

Sherwood @ #4 Tualatin (-31.5)

The T-Wolves have legit guys everywhere on the perimeter, with the biggest question being up front on the line where 6-7 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1110967' first='Connor' last='LaGrow'] is going both ways. This could be over early as this isn't your typical Sherwood team.

(-18) #5 Willamette @ Sprague

I have respect for the Oly's and what Coach AJ Robinson has done there. They lost a close one to 5A #1 Summit to start the year followed by another close loss to West Salem, before beating up North Medford 55-21 last week. Willamette has been one of the most impressive teams in the NW thus far. This game will be telling for both programs.

(-21.5) #6 Lakeridge @ #11 Sandy

Another super intriguing game with Sandy having one of their best teams ever. They could compete with CC and Nelson in the Mt Hood. Lakeridge got a week of rest after an impressive 33-14 victory over Mountainside. The Pacers need to be able to win by 3+ TD's here if they want to have a chance in the brutally tough TRL.

#9 Mountainside @ #8 Nelson (PICK' EM)

This is a legit tossup. Junior WR [player_tooltip player_id='937176' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'] has been off the charts good, with Nelson getting a hard fought 17-14 win over a quality Newberg program last week. It was surprising to see them get blasted by a #5 Idaho team. [player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] will be the key variable one way or the other for Mountainside. If he plays like he did against OC, they could win by double digits. Expect this game to go down to the wire.

Roosevelt @ #13 Tigard (-17)

Tigard played decent against Jesuit although their run defense was horrible. Roosevelt will compete for a PIL title, but the Tigers should be able to win by multiple scores. If not, it's going to be a long year in the TRL.

(-43) #14 West Salem @ McMinnville

Shawn Stanley's Titans are playing good ball at 2-0. This should be over early with the Grizzlies struggling.

(-31.5) #15 Westview @ Reynolds

Westview has beaten two struggling programs handily by a combined score of 96-15 over the first two weeks. Reynolds is in a similar boat. Next week will be interesting when they play Glencoe who is thriving.
