Nate's Big Dogs of the Game: Becker Bulldogs

We circled back into our scouting notebook from Friday night's game coverage to find out which of the Becker Bulldogs left their mark on the field per our live evaluation. From offensive trench monsters, two-way athletes, quarterback play, and more we unloaded every note we had from Friday night in Becker.    Brayden was one of a few Bulldog hog mollies that impressed me on their offensive line on Friday night. He's not one you can find on tape as of yet, but the live eval showed off an offensive guard that I was impressed on one of the Bulldogs touchdown led the pack of Bulldogs offensive linemen by getting into the second level and showing off solid strength and pad-level for his size. Hopefully we can see tape pop up for Brayden soon.     One of the smaller offensive linemen that I tracked that intrigued me for Becker was senior Aiden Golley. The 5'10 201 pounder, was another trench monster that showed off as a finisher at the point of attack as I loved the balanced angle and leverage he was able to gather on a few of his run-blocks against Hutchinson.     The senior captain showed off the persistency on the field from one of your captains, as Nathan was a promising rushing threat in the backfield especially when the Bulldogs got in the red zone. He logged two rushing touchdowns and showed off sound patience with the ball in his hands waiting for the holes to open up from the reps I watched out of Nathan. He was one of a few running backs for the Bulldogs that relished getting yards after contact vs. avoiding contact like some shifty running backs out there. You can tell the 6'2 215 pounder loves the opportunity to ground and pound up the A and B gaps on Friday nights.     The last of the hog mollies from Becker that caught my attention on Friday night was offensive linemen Thatcher Jurek. I recall watching Thatcher a bit during the state championship game last season as one of the top returning offensive linemen for the Bulldogs in the 2025 season. The 6'0 240 pounder impressed me on numerous reps with the growth he's made since last season with his first step, as he not only showed off a quicker twitch but he was faster at firing his hands to the chest of his defender. He graded out on Friday night to me as one of Becker's best pass-protectors as one to watch for in the 2026 season.     One of the best receptions I saw during this game on Friday night, came from 2026 wide receiver Cayden Goodell. It required him diving for the football backwards just to get it in his reach at what was an awkward angle for a wide receiver to snatch. Cayden in my eyes appears as an under the radar deep threat to watch for in Becker's light passing offense.     RJ caught my attention over the summer during college camp season, and did so yet again last Friday night in muliple ways in Becker's 42-6 win over Hutchinson. I got that grasp of his instincts over the summer around the ball as they looked as that skillset looks like it has grown a bit since then, as RJ logged one of the games only interceptions. You could tell with watching his 1v1 pass coverage that RJ has moved the neddle with his footwork and seemed to have a solid balance across his skillsets he had off the ball and on the ball. He's a 2027 that has his stock up in my eyes     Although the Becker offense was mostly focused on the run game last Friday night against Hutchinson, Tristan made the most of his opportunities when the Bulldogs did sling the rock downfield. Where Tristan appeared in my eyes to be more efficent was with the throws he was able to make outside of the pocket as that was I felt his best area last Friday as not only the quality of the throws he was able to make but the precision he had with his receivers to get penetration on the secondary on intermediate routes. Tristan just picked up his first FBS offer from Southern Miss this morning.     One of the best athletes in Central Minnesota in this 2026 class in my eyes is Becker's [player_tooltip player_id='1602739' first='Sawyer' last='Brown']. Although he left the game early due to an injury, I felt in every rep I watched from Sawyer especially as an H-Back he was impactful with the ball in his hands. His vision and instincts struck a continued chord in our live eval from last Friday night carrying over from last season's state championship run. Sawyer is still uncommitted in this 2026 class and I feel is still extremely under the radar although having a couple of offers under his belt.     The only prospect on either roster that had a multi-touchdown game came from Becker 2027 running back Isiah Boyer, who was a new name I added to my radar at Dwight Lundeen Stadium last Friday night. His first touchdown was one of my favorite plays in the entire game, as Isiah ruffled thru solid contact within the first 5-7 yards and got out of it and took it for a 40-yard rushing touchdown in the end in which 33-35 yards were yards after contact alone. On the other rushing touchdown that Isiah had, he showed off another skillset at his disposal. This time, it was his elusiveness and change of direction that got him free and into the Bulldogs end zone. Isiah comes off as an up and comer to know in the Becker offense in my eyes.
