At corner, Chaney shows awareness and toughness, making tackles near the goal line and slipping past blocks to stop runs behind the line. In the nickel, he supports the run with reliable wrap-up tackling and shows willingness to mix it up inside. Chaney is also an effective blitzer, recording sacks off the edge with timing and closing speed. His effort shows on special teams as well, where he contributes consistently on kickoff coverage. Chaney brings energy, toughness, and versatility to a defense. He runs with balance through contact, as seen on a long touchdown where he broke multiple arm tackles and powered into the end zone. In short-yardage and red-zone situations, he hits the hole with burst and finishes runs with authority. Amoriell has quick feet and enough wiggle to make linebackers miss at the second level. His spin move and cut ability in one of his plays on his highlights helped him escape a defenders in tight space. In one play, he reacts quickly, breaking off his man to make a pass breakup in the flat. On another play, Inside the red zone, he limited yards after the catch with a quick tackle on the slot. There's another play that involved a screen pass that went to he wide receiver and he closed on him quickly. Holloway did a great job of reading the play and cutting down the receiver behind the line. Against the run, he is not afraid to come up and finish plays. Even when blocked, he fights through and makes stops, preventing bigger gains. He tackles low and secures ankles in space. His range is evident in quarters and cover three looks, where he closes space quickly and breaks up throws with timing and length. Against the run, Watson can clean up plays that break into the second level and prevent big gains. He plays with energy and confidence, though he can sharpen his recognition speed and pursuit discipline. He recovers quickly in zone and has the length to break up throws across his area. On deep passes, he competes well in the air, showing timing and confidence in jump-ball situations. Smallwood plays with toughness and awareness, but adding bulk and quicker reads from depth will elevate his impact.
