When he drops back in coverage, he seems to know exactly where the football is going and gets there right on time, if not early. Then he shows off his natural ball skills and makes a play on it. Ramsey jumps passes for interceptions and/or closes in on crossers for pass breakups. And with his thicker build versus the run or while blitzing, he can come up and lay the boom. Playing nickel corner, he can press the slot WR in man or disguise his intentions in zone. His leaping ability shows up when he goes up and intercepts passes that he seemingly can't or won't get a hand on. Rice-Jackson has a similar ability on offense with how he snatches balls out of the air on contested catches. He also has the speed to stretch the field. Whether he's the single-high safety or lined up to the field, he covers a ton of ground to protect the backend. And when it's time to make a play, he soars through the air for the takeaway. Rodgers can also come up a little closer and clamp down on inside receivers in man/cover 0 looks. Despite not having the biggest frame, he's more than willing to step up as the free hitter in the alley or to make cleanup tackles in pursuit. He can stick his man outside and in the slot. His speed allows him to use his trail technique then undercut in/out-breaking routes. Even on hitches or comebacks, he explodes out of his backpedal to jump routes. Versus taller WRs or on 50/50 balls, he times his jumps and deflects the ball with one hand or plucks it out of the air with two. As a tackler, he converts speed to power and smacks whoever has the ball. Primarily operating in zone coverage, he can read the QB's eyes and has fluid hips when he has to turn and run. Witcher tracks the ball well in the air and attacks it as if it was thrown to him. His long arms and leaping ability allow him to break up the pass or intercept it outright. At WR, Witcher has the speed to threaten the defense vertically and horizontally. He beats defenders over the top on fades and breaks their contain on jet sweeps.
