Both teams will make noise for the rest of the season and into the postseason. Let's take a look at some players who caught the eye with our on-field evaluation.

Peyton has good size and a frame that will allow 15 additional lbs with ease. He has excellent hip fluidity, which allows him to move laterally with ease and maintain his momentum without slowing down. He has excellent footwork, is light on his feet, and as a route runner does well getting in and out of his breaks. He has good ball-tracking skills and is strong at the catch point. As the deep safety, he moves exceptionally well, has good range, and his quickness allows him to close on the ball carrier within strides. Peyton is an exceptional athlete and presents with a lot of traits to like. He should get nationally recruited, and word should spread soon.

Jesse singlehandedly kept Timpanogos in the game. He had 4 sacks in the first half and wrecked several more plays. He has a good athletic frame. He is quick off the line and moves well. He's a player that needs to be on more radars for recruiting and is an EDGE rusher that has traits that will play at the next level. He's a premier pass rusher, no matter the classification.

Gordon has excellent size, and his frame should allow him to add 10-15 lbs with relative ease. He is good off the line and is light on his feet. Gordon is best on vertical routes where he can use his speed to stack his corner. He creates separation well and is a player who will go and get the ball. He has strong hands, good concentration at the catch point, and he transitions upfield seamlessly. He's a receiver who will make waves in recruiting. His skill set translates to playing on Saturdays.

Marlee is best as a hybrid box safety/STAR role where he can roam pre-snap. He has good quickness and physicality, with the speed and frame to do well in coverage. He is quick. Once he plants his back foot, he shows good instincts and is a player who finds ways to make plays.

Ryder does a good job from the pocket in surveying the field. He's a signal caller who is quick and can buy additional time in the pocket. He does well on the move and throwing on the run. The system doesn't ask him to do boots and roll outs, but it would be an effective part of his game. He is a decisive passer when pressure is coming in his face, and when given time, will go through to his second read and deeper developing routes and take shots. He does well at taking what the defenses give him, and that adaptability makes him a signal caller who can adjust on the fly and isn't locked in on just one style of play. That duality will help Salem Hills later in the season, and when they hit the postseason, and the game is shortened.

Logan is the best athlete on the team and is the future. He was the lead back on the evening and showcased good athleticism, vision, and contact balance. He does well in picking up additional yards that aren't there for him, and he was also used in the passing game. He was the key weapon on offense and will take over as the signal caller next year. He has a bright future and is a player who will get looks in recruiting.

Those were players who caught the eye this past Friday.
