Loyola 2028 WR McKinley is a SUPERSTAR

What a show that was put on by 2028 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='974585' first='Jordan' last='McKinley'] on Friday night. The 6'3” 215 pound sophomore was an absolute monster all game long! He is just physically HUGE out there. Reminds me in some respects of an AJ Brown type wide out. Early on he used his legs as they like to put him in the wildcat QB spot. Ran the first one in after he created a penalty a couple of plays before on a pass interference call. Followed that up with another 9 yard run out of the wildcat evading backside pursuit for the score on the edge in the endzone. He is a big time pass catching threat as well. You saw the power early on a bubble catch where he ran over defenders for a 14 yard first down. He then would go on to catch a pair of TDs on a 38 yard go route right in his hands along with a 15 yard score to finish off the evening. Size, strength, speed, and hands! The top 10 prospect more than lived up to the billing.

More 2028 Star Power on the Loyola Offense

At the quarterback position [player_tooltip player_id='422465' first='Matthew' last='Lee'] is their next star. The sophomore has good footwork in the pocket, zip on his passes, and made key throws when he needed to extend drives. Lee threw for three touchdowns on the evening with two going to McKinley. Another 2028 we liked was Carmelo Madonado at running back. Bit of a smaller back. Runs behinds his pads and follows blocking scheme. Ran behind his big 2026 left tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1669564' first='Tommy' last='Fraumann'] showing solid speed, good vision, and toughness. Capable pass catcher. Speaking of running backs senior Cody Reilly is a versatile back that can catch it a little and ripped off a 79 yard TD blowing past defenders.

Loyola Front 7 Dominates Line of Scrimmage

It was an impressive effort for Loyola up front in this game as they went against and offensive line with three ranked lineman and clearly won the battle. They constantly were coming with pressure from different spots making plays in the backfield for sacks or TFLs. Have to give a shout out to [player_tooltip player_id='1640603' first='Gavin' last='King'] as the Dartmouth commit is the heart and soul of the defense. The linebacker recorded a pair of sacks pursuing the QB with speed and power. Physical and stout front that was effective vs both the pass and run. They finished the night off with a pick by 2028 Bob Sanders.

Wheaton St. Francis Has Firepower in Pass Game

St. Francis senior QB Brock Phillip definitely showed a strong arm and the ability to drive it downfield. He was at his best throwing it over the middle on intermediate routes. Those in breaking routes were where he felt most comfortable and was accurate. Has some scrambling ability throwing one TD on the move in addition to running in another in a jumbo package. Michigan State commit [player_tooltip player_id='212322' first='Zachary' last='Washington'] is the top 2026 wide receiver in the class. He setup a couple of the scores with plays on their side of the field on slant routes and a long 34 yard skinny post route. Good hands over the middle and can run after catch. [player_tooltip player_id='1400854' first='Dario' last='Milivojevic'] is a smooth route runner on comebacks and catches over the middle of the field showing toughness. Class of 2027 ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1335196' first='James' last='McGrath'] recorded a 18 yard TD pass. Also sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1136696' first='Blayke' last='Lohmann'] reeled in a score on a scramble drill in the corner giving his QB a spot to throw it.

Versatility of 2026 Glock

Every time we see 2026 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='212321' first='Tanner' last='Glock'] the versatility jumps off the page. Plays both sides of the ball. On the offensive side he made catches in traffic, screen passes for long gains weaving through defenders, burst running the ball out of the backfield, and is slippery with the rock in his hands.
