<p>To the best of my knowledge, I know two things to be true when it comes to player rankings. First, Prep Redzone is the industry leader in state-by-state depth when it comes to rankings. Second, Prep Redzone New Jersey – <em>specifically</em> – is the unabashed leader in sharing our evaluation ranking notes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='807032' first='Maurice' last='Davis'] 6'4" 170 DL Glassboro</td><td>Standup edge; very good strides, attacks with each step he takes in pass sets; tackling needs to be lower, a reacher; plays high when taking on trappers; uses arm length to extend on shorter opponents; waits at times, does not attack; has shown long arm; matches hands when does not get home to QB well; very raw and shows flashes, coaching will go a long way for his career</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1326342' first='Melvin' last='Zabaleta'] 6'2" 200 DL Wood-Ridge</td><td>Tackles high but wraps; plays with his hand in the dirt at moments; stance can improve to generat emore power and explosion; stops feet at times when driving into an opponent; shown snatch; can get reached/hooked; shows a little closing burst, flashes of it; good at fighting cut off blocks; redirects and changes directions well at times, a bit in consistently though; hustles, do not see him run around blocks too often; if he gains weight, he will be a leathal interior defender; has not shown a go to move run or pass</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1668759' first='Michael' last='Florentino'] 5'8" 150 RB/ATH Edison</td><td>Outruns his blockers; teammates seem to rally behind him and enjoy seeing him make plays; difficult to take down, does not get tripped up easily; JV prospect; can stop-and-start with ease, gets back to his top speed quickly; is there pop warner film on his tape? One clip was on a pop warner field; slippery, defenders fall off of him when they try to tackle him while chasing; has some upside and potential, needs to add weight; have not seen him burn with speed just yet</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1557394' first='Michael' last='Lozito'] RB West Essex</td><td>Hard runner, can make a squared defender miss a little, but not totally; takes contact and manages to keep going, but the interruptions slow him down just a bit; pins ball well; has a hard time cutting and turning corners tight; runs his track</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1276821' first='Michael' last='Todisco'] 5'10" 155 WR Holmdel</td><td>Safety, sees and drives on his read; can make the first man miss in space; unsure of the level of competition he played; understands leverages well, both when route running and when he has the ball in his hands; uses hands to make catches; shown a varieety of routes; routes are crisp enough, not dramatically, but effective;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1524426' first='Mitchell' last='Jenkins'] 5'7" 160 RB Hillside</td><td>Trusts his speed to the sideline; has some vision to cut backside; slithery type back, can wiggle and shift hips quickly to evade people in the open field; rocks the ball, carries it low; will lower shoulder; can spin, keep balance, and break arm tackles; smaller back</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1543889' first='Myles' last='Balchan'] 5'11" 185 QB Rutherford</td><td>Patient, will occupy and wait in a clean pocket; mobile enough to make linemen miss; ball does not have the most juice on it, makes throws to the near sideline look a bit difficult; feel as though he does not lead his receivers enough, they have to slow down or adjust to his throws; can make something out of nothign when given a bad snap; transfers weight to front foot; may stare down his receivers; can identify a mismatch and take advantage of smaller corners; when he knows where he wants to go he delivers a much better ball</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1695660' first='Naeem' last='Dale'] 6'1" 170 ATH Camden Eastside</td><td>Longest throw is about 40 yards; not a scrambler, but mobiel enough to make things happen; sort of cocks arm back, then ball at times, explodes out of his hand; layed defense and was a long snapper; leverage rolls well; unafraid to lay it out there and let the chips fall where they may kind of player</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1533558' first='Nehemiah' last='Maynes'] 5'10" 185 QB Pemberton</td><td>Short guy, can get some zip on the ball; film looks like a JV/Varsity mix; able to lead receivers for YAK when rolling out; throws are strong - would be stronger as he activates his lower half; seems to have eyes deep down field, rather than through progression; secures the ball when he takes off and runs; puts touch and loft at moments when it may not be necessary; asked to roll out more ofthen than usual I would say; determined as a runner and ball carrier; makes correct reads when running option plays;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1654018' first='Nicholas' last='Dimino'] 5'6" 162 ATH Marlboro HS</td><td>Sets his feet before throwing; want to see him carry fakes out with more fidelity; moves a lot in roll out and moves the pocket naturally; longest throw is about 35 yards; unafraid to chuck it up there and allow his guys to make plays; looks like he plays with some moxie and like a gunslinger a bit; throws are in good spots for the most part played corner back as well, reads QBs eyes and drives, breaks on passes very quickly; a low key athlete; aggressive in run support, good tackler; have not seen him tested deep; do not think he is a college QB but he can probably help your team</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1524431' first='Nicholas' last='Gomm'] 5'10" 185 LB Carteret</td><td>Breaks down in backfield when making a tackle for loss; comes off the ball hard; shoots a gap, rather than read keys, but goes down hill so hard weak blockers do not impact him; fullback who fearlessly runs full speed into someone; wraps and tackels well, a bit high, but slings and leverage rolls; aiming point on tackles waivers at times; down hill player, have not seen him in coverage on tape</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1530256' first='Nick' last='Palmieri'] 5'7" 155 RB Manalapan</td><td>Will out run his blockers at times; has balance, arm tackles will not bring him down; has a second gear in the defense's latter levels; must get ball to outside arm when in open space; has vision and trusts his speed; will lower a shoulder in short/must have yardage; not too much wiggle, but will make cuts; unsure of the level of ocmpetition he faces; rocks ball, does not pin it;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1538195' first='Nico' last='Thongchanh'] 5'8" 205 LB Clayton</td><td>Mike, surprisingly quick to the sideline in run or pass; plays high through the trenches, but can find gaps and get into them; gets to his spots defending the pass and can clog passing lanes; wraps well; can knife through and get down hill; able to hit/wrap/drive with authority; gets his head out of the tackle, to the side, consistently and nicely; quality thumping linebacker, more of a C to C gap player</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1551126' first='Nolan' last='Walsh'] 6'2" 190 QB Bernards</td><td>Will take a hit and get clocked to deliver the ball; one-two read and then moves; used a lot in play action; holds all high near his chin; quick release, snaps the ball; transfers weight to his front foot; looks a bit robotic playing the position, movements seem herky-jerky; longest throw is about 35-40 yards; not much YAC made on his throws, unless they are verts where someone is beaten deep; leads well on a slant; not a lot of juice on some of the throws</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1552713' first='Nymir' last='Daily'] 5'11" 185 RB Camden Catholic</td><td>An upright runner; keeps his feet moving, can absorb a hit and stay upright; able to reverse field; looks really athletic with the ball in his hands; hard to bring down, looks lik ehe has a strong body; catches with his hands most of the time; has vision to set up his blockers in the open field; rocks the ball, brings it tighter and closer when contact threatens; has a physical style of running; does not run behind his pads yet, have not seen him bowl someone over or lower the shoulder; upside depends on his speed</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
