2027 Athlete Midseason Film Review

He is an athlete out of Louisville (MS) who has been truly amazing this year. His film is showing us that he is a very versatile football player. We get a chance to see him make great plays on both sides of the football field. On defense, he is incredible at making tackles. On offense, he is incredible at finding the end zone. This is a kid who is going to start seeing some offers coming his way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1091509' first='Xavier' last='Waters']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Waters is an amazing football player from Itawamba. We love the way that he is able to use his strength from the backfield. It is looking like Waters is going to be a running back on the next level. He is known for being a power guy that has good speed. When you watch his film, you will also see that he is pretty quick on his feet. This is a player that we have been keeping up with for a while.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Madaylan McKenzie </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McKenzie is incredible on the football field. We feel like he is going to be an edge or jack backer on the next level. His film shows that he is able to get a good rush from the edge. He is a real striker who is violent when he makes contacts with players. You are not going to see him shying away from making things happen. Some coaches may want to see what he moves like in space. He is at the size where he can still be a linebacker on the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1241251' first='Chase' last='Craft']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Craft is one of the players from Heidelberg who is amazing on offense. He plays quarterback but will be a wide receiver in college. He is a shifty player that shows good speed on his film. You can see that he has a lot of versatility in his game. We would love to see him catch some passes, but we understand that may not come until we see him on the college level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
