Week 1 Recap- Standout Offensive Performances Across the State

What a week!   Today, we're watching some of our Standout Performers on the offensive side of the ball. These prospects dominated last week and have huge seasons ahead of them- we're all going to have to watch out for them moving forward.   With that being said, make sure you watch their film below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1051656' first='Ezavier' last='Crowell'] began his final season with a dominant performance against Demopolis this past Friday.   "Crowell is a rare talent who can do everything at the RB position. He's extremely fast, has tons of twitch, and can easily turn upfield and make defenders miss for massive plays on the ground.   In addition to his speed, Crowell is a physical back who can easily shake defenders. He's strong, runs hard, and has elite contact balance he uses to always stay on his feet despite big hits."   Jackson shut out Demopolis 41-0, and Crowell was a huge reason why. He racked up 12 carries for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night, making the most out of every opportunity. He's quick to scan the field, makes good reads, takes care of the ball, and can deliver some beautiful throws on the run.   Dunn has some impressive arm talent- he places a lot of touch underneath his passes and can accurately deliver the ball all over the field, whether it be along the sideline, over the top, or across the middle.”   In a game his team won 61-14, Dunn was the driving force. He ended the game 17-22 for 305 yards & 2 TDs with another 45 yards and 4 TDs on the ground.   You've gotta watch some of Dunn's tape. He's a super underrated QB who's having a terrific start to his senior season.      Jaxson Dixson is a talented prospect out of Foley who put together a great performance against Rain last week.   "Dixon has game-changing speed everywhere he lines up. He can completely flip the field in a moment's notice, and it's not hard to see on tape. Dixon can take short passes to the house and burn defenses over the top for huge gains as well.   Dixon also gains terrific separation in the passing game- he's quick on his feet, runs great routes, and can beat DBs anywhere on the field."   Dixon ended up having a huge game against Rain and found the endzone twice. You've got to check out this TD reception of his below; it's one of the most impressive catches I've seen this year.   I'm looking forward to watching Dixon the rest of this year; he's already off to a hot start.   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JaxsonDixon10/status/1961665111132688402 </div></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='1506551' first='Marty' last='Myricks'] is a talented back out of Oak Mountain who's been great on the ground so far this season.   “Myricks is a complete back who plays with a ton of speed and twitch to make defenders miss in the open field. It's really impressive watching him navigate the field. He does a great job seeing the field, finding rushing lanes, and following his blockers to maximize every carry.   Myricks is just as reliable a pass catcher- he has great hands, can secure passes through contact, and has the YAC skills to evade and find tons of extra yards after the catch.“   Myricks came up huge last week in Oak Mountain's 30-29 win over Pelham, racking up 152 rushing yards (170 all-purpose). I'm a big fan of Oak Mountain this season and think Myricks could end up as one of the leading rushers in the state.   Check out what he did last week:      [player_tooltip player_id='1640020' first='Carter' last='Davis'] is an electric prospect out of Gulf Shores who had another huge performance this past week.   "Davis is incredibly versatile out wide- he's a talented deep threat with tons of speed who runs great routes downfield, gains tons of separation, and hauls in catches for huge scoring plays. I'm really impressed with Davis' speed. He can rev up from 0-100 in an instant, and when he takes off, good luck stopping him.   What really stood out to me with Davis' tape was his skills as a blocker. He has some serious physicality he uses to completely level DBs out and open up huge opportunities in the open field for his teammates; it's impressive to watch."   Davis was explosive last week. He racked up 11 carries for 49 yards and 2 TDs on the ground, and 6 receptions for 78 yards and another TD in the air. Davis has been on fire to start this season.
