Dylan is a defensive back that has position flexibility on both sides of the ball but the All-State DB during the 2024 season is one that seems to always be in the right place at the right time which is a contribution to his football IQ. On either side of the ball, Dylan flashes the elite hands you want on either side of the ball and has the twitch and speed you want to see at the top of his route which translates to the defensive side of the ball in my eyes as his persistency on deep routes is intriguing. Just one NAIA offer thus far in the Dakotas, which really surprises me.

A 2026 defensive back that I have labeled as a stockriser in this class upcoming is [player_tooltip player_id='674792' first='Kolten' last='Tesch'] of Fargo Davies. Kolten put together an impressive performance at the UND Flagship Camp this summer. Watching him this summer in pass coverage, intrigued me due to his physicality he brought on every rep that was thrown his way as he was constantly in the WR's grill most of the afternoon and there's some translation what you see on his junior tape and I would expect his senior season he brings more of it. Kolten plays at another speed when he gets downhill to stop the run as college coaches might want to get the live eval this fall like I did this summer. No offers yet for Kolten and that's very surprising. Twitter

Sekou is another defensive back I have in the stockriser category by our next 2026 rankings update which should come after the 2025 season. He plays with the quick trigger when it comes to recognizing where the ball is headed and is proactive in getting around the ball quickly. The 6'2 185 pound also has great length that go above his measurables with his reach which especially gets noticed in 1v1 pass coverage time after time. He's one that if you peak his early tape to his late in season tape last season you could signficantly see the strides he make as a ball-tracker.

Another under the radar defensive back out of Fargo Davies, is [player_tooltip player_id='674790' first='Christopher' last='Kiepea'] who is one that I even felt was under the radar when I got his live eval back in November's state championship games. Christopher is a sound ball-tracker that has good length that I don't think gets talked about enough. He also is one defensive back on this list that has room to grow out his frame to entice more attention from an upside perspective. Another 2026 DB out of Fargo Davies that will need to own his craft in the first few games of the season to get more next-level attention with his tape.
