We will list twenty or so athletes on the defensive side next.

Mercer Island RB [player_tooltip player_id='1615867' first='Kainoa' last='Brown'] was one of the only freshman in the NW to contribute in a significant way for his team at the Varsity level. On the season he rushed 60 times for 523 yards and 7 TDs, averaging an impressive 8.7 yards per carry.

Other RB's ranking high on the list include [player_tooltip player_id='1789677' first='Lawson' last='Geldermann'] who is the brother of D1 offered standout [player_tooltip player_id='1110181' first='Ryland' last='Geldermann'], and 5-11 200-pound bruiser [player_tooltip player_id='1338069' first='Chrystian' last='Ervin'] who we could hear a lot about in the years ahead playing for reigning state champ O'Dea. [player_tooltip player_id='1219715' first='Kian' last='Krueger'] of Prairie scored varsity TDs as a freshman and has separated himself with his training over the off season.

[player_tooltip player_id='986441' first='Raziah' last='Patterson'] of Yelm has the potential of being one of the better WR's at the 4A level with continued progression. Other receivers include [player_tooltip player_id='985368' first='Madden' last='Carr'] of Sumner who looked good over the off season and [player_tooltip player_id='1083083' first='Jace' last='Bailey-Otis'] of Woodinville who did well on the 7v7 circuit as part of the Wipe Me Down Boyz. Expect him to add some size.

Some of the best overall athletes out of the group offensively look to be [player_tooltip player_id='1339183' first='De'kaylin' last='Palea'ae'] who has top 25 potential and [player_tooltip player_id='1663299' first='Jack' last='Uhlir'] of Camas who can play multiple spots on the field and should be a big part of the program's future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1743630' first='Stockton' last='Parrish'] played varsity ball as a freshman for Southridge and looks to be a dude, with [player_tooltip player_id='1337930' first='Quentin' last='Carroll'] of Mount Spokane looking like one of the fastest rising players in the GSL. 6-2 185-pound wideout [player_tooltip player_id='1655881' first='Heath' last='Voegtlin'] of Bainbridge Island is another talented kid with size to keep an eye on.

From a QB standpoint [player_tooltip player_id='984869' first='Julien' last='Woodruff'] of Shorewood has legit potential, playing varsity ball as a freshman, and possessing a good arm with a 6-2 frame. Baseball standout [player_tooltip player_id='1795357' first='Beau' last='Donahoe'] of Zillah is another kid with size who could be one of the better small school talents in the state.

A few quarterbacks coming from more well-known programs include [player_tooltip player_id='1339195' first='Oliver' last='Stiles'] of Eastlake, [player_tooltip player_id='1139323' first='Oliver' last='Setterberg'] of Glacier Peak, and [player_tooltip player_id='1339252' first='Colton' last='Stiles'] of Mount Si. There is still a lot yet to be determined but each has a high ceiling and a big sophomore year ahead.

TE [player_tooltip player_id='1620299' first='Christian' last='Duenas'] was a varsity asset as a freshman for Timberline. Him and [player_tooltip player_id='999744' first='Wonderful' last='Glenn'] help give the program a bright future. Last but not least state champion powerlifter [player_tooltip player_id='986530' first='Kaynen' last='Barger'] will make the move from Yelm to Rainier where he will anchor the line and likely be one of the best in Washington on the interior.
