Luke has waited going on one year since he played his last game for the Aggies, as the 6'2 215 pound linebacker is back in action for the 2024 11A State Champions. Luke's always intrigued with his vision downhill to the ball as you can gauge how instinctively gifted he is getting into the backfield early. Our LB2 in the Dakotas 2026 North Dakota class is one that I feel his first three games this season could surely rise his stock, as he looks like an ideal fit in the NSIC from my eyes as one that you also can't miss on his motor around the field.

Our DB1 in the North Dakota 2026 class surely had a booming summer with now six offers and is one of the most rangey safeties we have still available in the Dakotas as a whole. His football IQ is stacked with a excellent understanding pre-snap of where the ball is headed in pass coverage and brings the juice constantly from sideline to sideline for the Thompson Tommies. Cash brings all the balance you would want in your secondary when it comes to run stopping and pass coverage as you can't miss the vision he brings to the table. He's going to be a small town steal to whoever lands him on Saturdays!

Carson was one I swear should have his first offer by now, but can show the college coaches what I saw most of the summer at camps especially in these first three games. He logged 14 tackles for a loss last year, as it doesn't take long to tell how twitchy Carson can be getting down to the ball carrier. He also has enticing hands getting off blocks and I would expect that strength to show off even further based on what we saw at summer camps. If you are looking for a linebacker that you have plenty of room to fill out in a college strength program, that plays with the well-versed motor you want at linebacker make sure to make the trip to Bismarck and get your live eval on this young man this fall.

Kaleb is one that has solid open-field vision, and I would be willing to bet that it's improved even more this offseason for the Hi-Liners running back. The 6'0 190 pounder is one that I feel also is more elusive than he got credit for on tape with his north-south running ability and we should see more break through with that skillset this fall, hopefully starting tonight at Valley City moves into 11A competition. Kaleb's upside going into this fall is with his durability and breaking more tackles for yards after contact as he showed the ambition for getting extra yards on contact, but this could be the year where he takes that next step.

A 2026 linebacker out of Carrington that is under the radar in my eyes that could see plenty of growth going into his senior season is [player_tooltip player_id='1568607' first='Tate' last='Wolsky']. The 6'1 195 pounder for the Cardinals, I feel brings a workhorse-like mentality when he gets downhill to the ball scratching and clawing at the ball carrier. My guess is Tate has gotten more fluid with his change of direction from his 2024 tape a year ago as you could see the lateral movement brewing as a run-stopper, as I can only assume he's going to make more head-on contact with plenty of ball carriers this fall. He surely looks like he should be one that you see playing on Saturdays out of Carrington.
