The state of Oregon has beaten Washington teams over the last few years, with West Linn and Central Catholic beating the likes of Sumner, Bellevue, and Lake Stevens. <p>1.<strong>O'Dea WA</strong></p>

<p>The reigning state champs return one of the top D line's in America led by [player_tooltip player_id='402788' first='David' last='Schwerzel'] (UCLA commit), [player_tooltip player_id='284217' first='FA' last='Siale'] (Michigan St), [player_tooltip player_id='1354431' first='Jeremiah' last='Nonu'] (Nevada) and nationally ranked 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1599603' first='Tevita' last='Nonu']. Also back is [player_tooltip player_id='726157' first='Kingston' last='Fotualii'] (Wash St) and [player_tooltip player_id='726171' first='Griffin' last='Matzen'] on the O line. Add in a few D1 skill guys and the Irish will once again be extremely difficult beat. </p>

<p>2.<strong>Lake Oswego OR</strong></p>

<p>The Lakers have dudes everywhere with one of Oregon's all-time great coaches leading them, so as of right now you have to give them the nod. POY favorites [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] (Utah commit) and [player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] (Washington) are ranked two of the top five players in the state. 6-4 QB [player_tooltip player_id='402409' first='Hudson' last='Kurland'] (Washington St) is a D1 guy and a legit dual threat. Defensively they have an elite secondary with 1<sup>st</sup> team all-state individuals at the LB spot, making LO one of the few teams where you just don't see a weak spot on either side of the ball. </p>

<p>3.<strong>Sumner WA</strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='726169' first='Nate' last='Donavan'] doesn't necessarily project as a big time D1 recruit at QB but give him a ton of credit for coming in during his first season and leading Sumner to the state title. The Spartans will have an elite defense led by returning Conference POY [player_tooltip player_id='1544388' first='Shaun' last='Griffith'], and three other D1 guys in LB's [player_tooltip player_id='1165398' first='Austin' last='Glivar'], [player_tooltip player_id='1576633' first='Dillon' last='Titialii'], and DB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='726174' first='Israel' last='Nabors']. If 3* WR [player_tooltip player_id='1188109' first='Braylon' last='Pope'] and TE [player_tooltip player_id='1599631' first='Ashton' last='Pillard'] continue to do their thing on offense they will be a 4A favorite again. </p>

<p>4.<strong>West Linn OR</strong></p>

<p>Speaking on the NW's all-time best coaches, you don't get much better than Jon Eagle. The reigning Oregon 6A champs graduate a bunch of talent from last year's title team but are loaded from youth ball on up. [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] is one of the top 2027's in America and about as dominant as you get. RB [player_tooltip player_id='769989' first='Viggo' last='Anderson'] has a chance to put up video game like numbers with [player_tooltip player_id='769924' first='Kalani' last='Ioapo'] being a lineman of the year candidate. The key for the Lions this year will be the young guys. If they can step up and perform, they will have a chance at another title. </p>

<p>5.<strong>Bellevue WA</strong></p>

<p>The Wolverines went 12-1 losing in the 3A state title game to O'Dea last year. They will have 3A POY favorite [player_tooltip player_id='1128444' first='Max' last='Jones'] back at RB with talent everywhere on the perimeter. The biggest question comes up front on the O line where they graduate two of the nation's best in Demetri Manning now at Oregon and Willi Wascher who is at USC. </p>

<p>6.<strong>Lakeridge OR</strong></p>

<p>This should be the best Pacers team in decades as Lakeridge will have a legit shot of winning the 6A title. They have a D1 line with 6-6 and 6-7 tackles [player_tooltip player_id='402412' first='Joe' last='Weiler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='914288' first='Carter' last='Paul'], to go with division 1 projected interior guys in transfers [player_tooltip player_id='1341235' first='Jaxon' last='Barber'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1591972' first='LJ' last='Kyle']. QB [player_tooltip player_id='284120' first='Drew' last='Weiler'] has one of the fastest rising stocks of any player in the NW with four year all conference athlete [player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] being the real deal. Defensively [player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] will be a 6A POY favorite. It's now or never for LHS. </p>

<p>7.<strong>Eastside Catholic WA</strong></p>

<p>Eastside has top recruits everywhere highlighted by senior's [player_tooltip player_id='402799' first='Wassie' last='Lugolobi'], [player_tooltip player_id='402787' first='Asa' last='Thompson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1582216' first='Cade' last='Boehl']. They also feature two of the nation's top underclassmen in [player_tooltip player_id='1003593' first='Tytan' last='McNeal'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1617792' first='Aedyn' last='Havili'] but do lose the state's #1 recruit for 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='652796' first='Liufau' last='Loumoli'] who transferred to IMG in Florida. The Crusaders went 10-2 last season with both losses coming to state champ O'Dea. They will be hungry for some payback. </p>

<p>8.<strong>Central Catholic OR</strong></p>

<p>CC is a 6A title contender every year within Oregon and they have numerous dudes who will play D1 ball including maybe the best RB duo in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='402415' first='Killian' last='Sombe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402427' first='Tyson' last='Davis']. The biggest question mark will be up front on the line where they lose foundational pieces to graduation in 4* Zac Stascausky and Kainoa Hayes. They handled Lakeridge 40-17 last year in the playoffs, but it will be much more competitive if they play again. </p>

<p>9.<strong>Gonzaga Prep WA</strong></p>

<p>The Bullpups have a real shot at a Washington 4A title this season with Spokane producing as much talent as it has in years. Gonzaga Prep went 12-1 last season losing by a TD to Camas in the state semi's and return multiple D1 athletes with both [player_tooltip player_id='1589207' first='Jacobe' last='McClelland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1165359' first='Isaiah' last='Docken'] holding offers. 2x 1st team all-conference RB [player_tooltip player_id='1165376' first='Jonah' last='Keller'] will be a GSL Player of the Year favorite. </p>

<p>10.<strong>Graham Kapowsin WA</strong></p>

<p>You will see GK competing for state titles in the seasons ahead with their younger classes being loaded. QB [player_tooltip player_id='984855' first='AJ' last='Tuivaiave'] racked up conference POY honors as a freshman and it wasn't really close. Underclassmen [player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'], [player_tooltip player_id='569907' first='Ayden' last='Bullinger'], and [player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz'] all rank at the top charts as well. Add in 3* [player_tooltip player_id='928074' first='Maurice' last='Williams'] who makes the transfer from Yelm and you have an extremely young but dangerous group. </p>
