Bastrop, who went 9-4 and 7-0 in district in 2024, is now looking to keep the momentum rolling into 2025. The team is led by a strong core of returning playmakers and a coaching staff that has built a winning culture, setting the tone for another big season. Diego is a high energy player who brings relentless effort on every snap. He plays with a motor that never stops, closing quickly on the ball and making plays sideline to sideline. His instincts help him read and react fast, and his physicality at the point of attack sets the tone for the defense. He takes great angles in pursuit, rarely giving up on a play, and shows the versatility to contribute against both the run and pass.
