shows that he’s a natural born quarterback. I had the opportunity to watch him live last season, and he put on a performance that left no doubt about his long term upside. For a young signal-caller, Weston displays poise beyond his years. He commands the offense with confidence, communicates clearly at the line of scrimmage, and plays with the kind of presence you usually only see in upperclassmen.
What stands out most on film and in person is his arm talent. Weston throws with velocity and touch, able to drive the ball into tight windows or layer it over defenders on intermediate and deep throws. He’s comfortable making throws to all areas of the field and doesn’t shy away from taking shots downfield when the opportunity is there. Weston is also athletic enough to run, he rather hurt defenses by standing in the pocket and letting his WR’s go to work. Weston threw for 3,185 Passing Yards and 37 Touchdowns.

at tight end, you can tell that Weston is surrounded by some top talent as a quarterback. With an ideal frame at 6’1, Weston has proven command over the field as a quarterback. One of the first things that stuck out to me when evaluating Nielsen is his ability to move in and out of the pocket. With his smooth-moving feet, he can set up his throws nicely. Weston can also get the job done on the ground. If he feels pressure, you won’t often see him try and force a ball. Instead, Weston will roll out and scramble, which has been shown to lead to big gains and points. Overall, Weston has proven to be a workhorse in the pocket and has no problem generating offense. Texas High School football better look out for the dynamic duo of
