A natural born runner, Mason Leonor is an athlete to get excited about. Listed as a RB/LB/DB on X, Mason really is a do it all player, which only becomes more evident when you check out his film.

Offensively, Mason is equipped with multiple ways to carve up a defense. Electric from the moment the ball is snapped, Mason can burst out of the backfield with speed you don't see often, giving himself an edge to beat the defender through the hole and to the outside. Mason is one of the most slippery ball carriers in the 2030 class as well. Having exceptional contact balance, a powerful stiff arm, and agility to make defenders miss in open space, Mason finds a way to get to the end zone.

Defensively, Mason displayed ball hawk characteristics in 2024. In one of his highlights, he showed great coverage skills as he high pointed the ball in the back of the end zone for the interception. Mason can make plays regardless of what side of the ball he is on.

If you're looking for a player that has a ton of content and film already available to dissect, look no further than EJ Reevey. With film from the prior season and videos of him showcasing the effort he has put in during the offseason, everything I've seen points towards an athlete with a very bright future in New Jersey and beyond.

What's most impressive about EJ is his adaptability on both sides of the ball. Throughout the 2024 season you would find EJ lining up in the backfield, out wide, and even from a wingback position. Out of the backfield, EJ hits the hole with authority, picking up a ton of steam as he barrels through defenders. While he has proved successful as an RB, I think his true calling will end up being as a wide receiver. EJ displayed great hand eye coordination last season while he made a handful of acrobatic catches to reel the ball in.

A cornerback and safety as well, EJ is going to hear his name called quite often on the loud speaker for years to come.

Right off the bat I am comfortable saying [player_tooltip player_id='1653798' first='Ayveron' last='Hudson'] is one of the best open field runners in the NJ 2030 class. A literal touchdown machine, Ayveron is one of the most creative ball carriers I've seen when he gets into the open field. With his vision, Ayveron has the ability to see the field open up in front of him and then proceed to utilize his speed to separate himself from his opponents and move laterally at will across the field.

With a plethora of tricks up his sleeve, Ayveron can run through or around any defender he squares up against. He is a lethal cutter and can stop on a dime to leave a defender grasping for air, but at the same time displays power back characteristics when he lowers his shoulder and punishes defenders in his path. With phenomenal contact balance to tie it all together, Ayveron is arguably my favorite prospect to watch out for as we enter the 2025 season.

While there isn't a ton of film to work off of yet, there is a lot of promise from 2030 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1650714' first='Laventa' last='Hoffman']. What excites me about Laventa is his versatility on the defensive side of the ball. He seems very comfortable being set back in the secondary and also being up close at the line. In the end, I have a feeling he will meet in the middle and find he's a natural fit at the linebacker position.

Laventa is a player to keep an eye on as more tape becomes available after the 2025 season ends.
